Because the waiter didn't speak English, there was no explanation of the cuts, leaving us to figure out whose plate was whose. ​Arrogant sommelier: When we asked for a wine recommendation, the sommelier suggested a bottle for nearly €200. When we asked for something in the €70-€80 range, he condescended to us, asking if it was "our first time at a restaurant"--despite their menu having options as low as €30 . ​Disappointing management & service charge: I raised our frustration with the manager, who took over for the rest of the meal and brought the bill. He had automatically added a 10% tip, brushing it off as just a "suggestion." When I voiced my surprise at this level of service and the automatic tip addition, he looked down on us and simply ignored the feedback. ​Lisbon has far too many world-class dining options with top-tier hospitality to justify paying premium prices just to be looked down on by the staff. All the meat were cooked perfectly as we asked for and not salted. They come with salt and sauce on the side so if you have someone watching their salt intake, it will be perfect. The meat without any seasoning was still amazing! We did one appetizer which was the octopus. Seafood in Lisbon has been amazing and the octopus here too was very soft and well seasoned.
