From the moment Dr. Chase walked in the room, I knew we had found our future dentist. He has a professional but relaxed presence. He has four kids of his own and is a natural with kids. My daughter has struggled with cavities from a young age and has been recommended for anesthesia to fill multiple cavities in the past. Not far into the visit, this dentist began talking about gum disease, etc. which I have never had an issue with based on my previous exams, cleanings. He then proceeds to tell me I need deep cleaning/root scaling and would not do my regular cleaning! In my gut I felt I was being upsold and would for sure get a second opinion as that is a major and costly procedure even with PPO insurance. I know that my former office would have talked to me about that had it been needed over the last 7+ yrs I was with them. I found another dentist the same week and got my six month cleaning that I was due for, and told that the deep cleaning/root scaling was in fact NOT needed after their exam and cleaning. They also reviewed the exam and X-rays from this office and my previous dental office for the last two years and still came to the same conclusion. He said the needle is special that's why you didn't feel it. Through out the process Dr. Bassir and his Assistant were really great. At the end, the Coping looks really good and color matches perfectly. I do not have healthy teeth therefore I have been in many many dental offices since I was around 10 years old.
