We drove by this shop and were compelled to turn right around and stop for coffee at the shop next door and peruse the curated selection of bottles at Hoopers Creek. They have a great selection for a small shop, with organic, biodynamic, as well as natural wines. They also have some beer and N/A drinks available. I love that they have a counter where a few people were enjoying wine by the glass while chatting with the owner. He helped us with our shopping and showed us through a hallway to the pantry area with amazing tinned fish, oils, and snacks as well as some more seating! And if the weather is nice, there are picnic tables out front. I could've stayed here for hours! Big fan- If I'm ever back in the area I will grab more bottles to fuel my group!

Parking was easy (you can park on the grass) and the location is easy to find. Walked in and was immediately welcomed with a smile! I was offered some samples before buying what I truly wanted. The crowd was so friendly too, looks like I'm not the only one that comes independently. I was sampled the regular moonshine, peach, amaretto and the peanut butter. Holy crap! All of them were so delicious. Not too sweet, not too alcoholic-ly. It was the perfect amount to get you buzzed. I ended up going home with the original and peach... but man if I lived here, I would get all the flavors. I can't wait to share my mason jars with my boyfriend! I recommend this place to anyone, especially if you're going to come here alone. The staff makes you feel, so not alone. Their moonshine is a little bit on the pricey side, but it's a huge mason jar and the quality is top notch. They were so nice to even bag it up for me, get it prepared to bring it back home! I am definitely coming back here next time I'm in NC. * The staff here are also Star Wars lovers, it's a WIN WIN!
