He was able to quickly identify where the mice were (behind, or near, the stove) and where they were coming from (behind the fridge, through the walls, likely starting out in the attic). He said that actually catching the mice humanely would not be possible (too difficult) but if they could get into the attic, they could identify the possible entry points and block those so that in future, rodents could not get in. Access to the attic on that day was not possible but we likely will get that done. In the meantime, there was no charge for the visit, which was incredibly generous. I learned a lot, which is valuable to me going forward.

They sent a 2-person cleaning team, and the total cleaning took about 4 hours. They magically cleaned the stains that I couldn't manage to remove after months of effort (seriously, I don't know how they did it lol) They cleaned inside the windows, oven, closets, floors, ceilings, and even areas like behind the refrigerator. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly. After they finished, they asked me to check the unit to make sure everything looked good. When I checked, the floor was clean like a mirror(literally reflective lmao see photo I attached) (no exaggeration). The communication with the cleaning team was also very smooth. They were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job, honestly better than I expected. Given the quality of work they did, I think the price is very reasonable. (Some random and weird thoughts: I'm a CS student doing research in AI and robotics, and watching them clean actually made me think that it would be pretty hard to design a robot or RL algorithm that could match their level of cleaning expertise lol +1 point to the human team) After the cleaning, my property managers inspected the unit and said it looked great, so it seems like I'll be getting my full deposit back, which I'm very happy about. I also had great communication with Linda, the company's manager. She is efficient, responsive, and professional, and the whole communication process was very smooth. We found a few things and made our purchases. As we were walking back to our car, a homeless gentleman politely approached us and asked if we could help him get a pair of sneakers. He was incredibly respectful, so we went back into the store and bought him not only shoes but also some clothing. What happened next completely overshadowed what had been a positive experience. When we checked out, the cashier (Operator #9088) carelessly tossed the gentleman's clothing into the bag as if it were trash. I politely asked if she could fold the clothes instead of just throwing them in. Her response was shocking. She took the clothing back out of the bag, threw it toward me, and said, **"You fold them then. I don't fold clothes."** Caught off guard, I simply replied, "Ma'am, you can clearly see what we're trying to do here." Her response? **"Yeah, whatever."** I have rarely encountered such unnecessary disrespect from someone working in customer service. We were trying to do something kind for another human being, and instead we were met with rudeness and complete indifference. The only reason I didn't ask for a refund was because the gentleman genuinely needed the items we had purchased for him. Otherwise, I would have walked away from the transaction. If this employee's behavior reflects Goodwill's standards, then there is a serious need for better customer service training. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, and certainly someone receiving help should not have their belongings handled with such disregard. This experience left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, because of how we were treated, I will not be returning to this Goodwill, and it has made me think twice about shopping at Goodwill stores in general. Goodwill, no how about IllWill!
