We went on a rainy Saturday morning, the place was full but they greeted us as soon as we stepped foot inside. I really like the ambiance the barista has created, great music and everyone looks happy to be there. The food was great. Love the presentation, amount and flavors. It's a little pricey, Almost 16€ for a toast with poached eggs seems a little high but the location may be the reason.

Tiny place but with a cute vibe! The service is great and friendly. I got the eggs on toast with fried eggs and salmon, it was a great size and seasoned and cooked perfectly with a good runny egg. My mother got the French toast and it was so fluffy and the cream was amazing. My brother got the avocado toast and the bacon was amazing and it was around the same size. The orange juice was very refreshing.

Such a cute coffee shop with delicious breakfast to get your day going in Paris. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and they have oat milk! I ordered the yogurt and granola (which as you can see in the picture was delicious and beautiful). My friend enjoyed her Benedict, she said the salmon tasted very fresh. The winner though were the scones. OMG they were soooo soft and fluffy. And the jam!! Ugh I can't stress it enough. You have to order the scones. I would take a million of those back home with me if I could. Can't wait to return!!

This was the most modern coffee shop we went to in Paris. The staff spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. We both ordered poached egg toast with smoked salmon and it was divine and filling. The coffee was delicious and perfect for the cool morning. They also sell coffee beans but you'd need to have your own container to transport it. Next time I'm in Paris, I'd probably stop by again for a cup.

This place will be the reason for my next revisit to Paris!!!So I'm not a big fan of hotel breakfasts unless it's at Ritz or Bellagio ;) I was staying literally a few blocks from the Eiffel and this cafe happened to be literally 2 mins walk from the hotel. I went in not super early it was around 9:30-10, the cafe was full.It is a small cozy place.I had no time to sit and eat so I grabbed a to-go avacado toast with poached egg and a coffee. They have an open kitchen concept I really appreciate restaurants that do that- it does take a lot of experience and courage to do so if one may think. I saw my coffee being brewed in front of me and so did I see this girl toasting my bread and poaching my egg. I was handed my order with 7/8 mins and I left the restaurant.I indulged in it right away.I had this perfect breakfast in one hand and Eiffel Tower views following me on the right all along my walk.I literally paused and felt so blessed. Coming down to the food.OMG I have never had a better breakfast in my life.Best thick cut bread yet light.Perfectly poached egg with avocado and their seasoning on top was out of this world.It was tad bit spicy and lemony topped with fresh herbs-by far the best avocado toast I have ever had.I just can't describe how amazing each bite was.Their bread is unbelievable!! Their coffee was fresh and hit the spot.Their service was quick and friendly. When in Paris do eat a breakfast here-it's literally a short walk the Eiffel.

One of the best breakfast spots in France (visited Lyon, Annecy, Avignon and Paris on this trip). I think the owners are Aussies too. Cute cafe with surfing decor. Limited menu but done exceptionally well. Coffees are strong, rich and robust, just the way to start the morning and long day of walking and visiting landmarks and experiencing Paris. Food: Avocado toast - one of the best! Ordered this with a poached egg and bacon. YUM! Unfortunately they were out of brioche so wasn't able to try the french toast, however the owner was flexible and cooked up fried eggs for my son. Granola, yogurt and fruit was very filling and it was a generous amount. The yogurt was rich, thick and creamy. The only adjustment, if at all would be to add a little honey, however the fruit was sweet (I just have a massive sweet tooth :/) The banana bread is legit. So moist, with a nice crunchy top. Came with a pad of butter that melted and made the bread even more decadent. Safe room for the banana bread or see if you can do take away. You can thank me later :) The owner was very accommodating and kind, as we wanted friend eggs and poached eggs over the soft boiled eggs on the menu. He didn't bat any eye and was ok with the substitue (which I know can be challenging on busy mornings). it was a 30 min walk from our hotel, but well worth it!!!!

This little coffee shop cafe was an eight minute walk from our hotel in Paris. I am always on the hunt for breakfast options, and this was one of the few early morning hot options. The banana nut bread was recommended and highly rated, and it is definitely worth it. The slice of bread itself was dense, but they had gone back and toasted it then dropped a pat of butter on top. As an American southerner, we can be kind of snobby about our banana bread, but this was a delight. The bacon was slightly crispy but not burnt, and the flavor was good. The place was pretty busy and the tables are tight, but service was amazing. I tried to go back but they were closed on Sundays!

Our first breakfast in Paris was exquisite thanks to this place! It was a nice walk from our stay, and upon entering we were immediately welcomed in. It's a small place, and a line started forming shortly after we arrived but thankfully we were able to grab a table. We ordered granola yogurt, eggs benny with bacon and the famous banana bread and wow! everything amazing! Their menu is limited but I would think everything is as delicious as what we had. Our waitress was also very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend for a yummy breakfast in Paris!

Very good coffee. One of only a handful of craft coffee shops I've found in Paris that serve quality beans roasted well. In addition the owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. Finally, the breakfast avocado sandwich is delicious. Easily for two people. read more

Second day in Paris and already went there twice! Happy staff and very good food. Things are not cheap but I'd say the service makes it worth of the price: I was checking on my phone how to make poached egg when the waiter came to collect the plates. He saw me checking and immediately told me how to make those eggs! read more

In 21st century racism is not about segregation or hanging people. It's about micro-aggressions & making people of color invisible. I'm an Indian-American visited this restaurant with. Within 30 seconds the owner of the restaurant made me feel invisible by not talking to me(I was there with Caucasian friend), he didn't even bring a menu for me and reluctantly responded to my question. We decided to leave the place immediately. I have traveled across 18 countries and I live & work at a place where people are very cognizant of their actions and inclusivity, we are taught to detect and identity any of these actions. No wonder all the negative reviews of this place are from people of color or with Asian names. There is explicit feedback from an Iranian customer about racism at their place. read more

We are staying at Mercure Hotel right now. We always check the Yelp app to find place to eat nearby our location. After reading the reviews, reviews with pictures really help us making decision, we decided to try O Coffeeshop. The place is cute and cozy. The staffs all speak English well. On every table there is a bottle full of tap water and glasses, free of charge. They have oat milk for those lactose intolerant like me. I had piccolo, basically it's a latte in 4oz cup. It tasted good. I had avocado toast with a poached egg and paid extra for 2 pieces of bacon. The toast was generously covered with avocado. Poached egg was perfect. The bacons worth the extra euros. I forgot what my husband had, but it was delicious he said. The espresso was bright with fruity finish. I'd prefer mine dark with chocolaty finish, but I like their coffee. Refreshing. The coffee (while not inexpensive) was amazing and could fulfill most coffee snob's standards. It was definitely worth it if you appreciate good coffee. The delicious and varied menu was an added bonus. The friendly staff spoke fluent english. It was packed and all food that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. A great coffeeshop in a neighborhood that has dire need of some good quality coffee. Beans come from Belleville Brulerie and their pastries are quite nice. My new favorite place to sit down and read. I visited this darling little breakfast restaurant a few months ago while we were in Paris. It was within walking distance to our hotel. It is owned by Australians. They all speak English. The food is so good! Definitely get the Avocado Toast. Yum! The Banana Bread is also so worth it. Get it warm! It's freshly made there. It's very small so you might have a wait. We went several times while there as it was some of the best food in Paris! Don't miss out! read more

I was drawn to this place because it received great reviews but that was not the experience I received. Upon walking in we were greeted however, a second gentleman walked up to us and asked us how many in our party. We had 3 adults and 2 small children. He then stated that they were very busy but if we wanted coffee, "there was a great coffee shop right behind them." My face expression must have dropped because he then stated if we really wanted to dine here it might be a 20 minute wait but we could wait 5 minutes to see if perhaps a table would clear up. I guess he really did not want us to dine here. We said we would wait but we felt super uncomfortable so we left and ate at the fantastic 142 Creperie a few blocks away where 3 adults and 2 children were welcomed. read more

Visited this place for breakfast on our last day in Paris and I wish we'd discovered it earlier. An adorbs little coffee shop with really fun surf-themed decor and amazing breakfast food. We got the avocado toast and eggs benedict and both were delicious and hearty. Even though it was before noon, the menu said their banana bread is "famous," so we decided to try it. It came warm, with some butter and a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream. Holy crap. Salivating writing this. Just get it. No matter what time of day you go. read more

Love the food... love the staff. We had the avocado toast (with arugula, cherry tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, best bacon ever, and yuzu sauce) and the brioche toast with incredibly fresh fruit with a delicious sauce. The window area is spacious. The side room is tight but there are hooks on the wall. Even so I would leave a big handbag at home. Large parties might be difficult. It might help to call ahead. read more

This place is wonderful. I got the avocado poached egg and my husband got the two soft boiled eggs. Both were delicious. We also had coffee, which was also very good. The guy who helped us was happy to explain anything on the menu. Would highly recommend this place as it is nice place to get away from the touristy parts of Paris read more

The banana bread was too die for. My kids had the brioche French toast with fruit and they said, "it was excellent!" My wife and I had the avocado toast which was awesome. The owner and gentleman who served us were very patient as we do not know French. In fact, the server speaks English. The lattes were amazing! Can't go wrong eating here! read more

I would just go back for this delightfully warm concoction in the morning. The service to go along with this made this experience more pleasant as it seems most of the employees were filipinos. They were quick to receive you and leave you beyond satisfied. The shop exudes the classic parisian aesthetic that most people would romanticize and I am glad I experienced it. I would come back for the pleasant experience - try out Merci Jérôme!

It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. Nonetheless, I enjoy dining at Carette and returned on my second Paris trip with my husband. Anyone visiting for the first time should try their thick hot chocolate at least once.

We saw our server once and I couldn't recall who he was when it came time to get the bill. I asked a hostess walking by for our check and she told me to ask our server while walking away. We were able to flag another server down eventually but the whole process just took too long. The tables for four have chairs that don't quite tuck in causing for a bit awkward seating. If you like really thick hot chocolate, give it a try but otherwise ok to miss this one. Plenty of good hot chocolate throughout the city.

I love O Coffee!! I come here almost everyday and it will continue to be the best restaurant in Paris. The food is amazing and the service is quick / the best.
