Don't ignore the red flags! I feel like an idiot for purchasing a Groupon for O Carpet Cleaners.
Their website is not an accurate representation of the product. After I bought the Groupon it took me 8 to 10 calls before someone answered. (They don't have v/m) When someone did answer, he told me to text instead. (I was still holding out hope:0/ So.....I asked, via text, what my Groupon bought me? The reply was, "we charge 20 for hallway, 30 for room, 35 for stairs. "
I asked again, "regardless your usual rates, what do I get with the Groupon voucher already purchased? " (YEA! I'M STILL HOPING TO BE HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE! ) Finally, a reply, "2 rooms and a hallway" Okay. OCarpet Cleaners isn't a total farce. Progress.
A nice young man shows up, on time, and gets to work. We figure it'll speed things along if we move what furniture we can, which we do. Good thing we did, NOTHING ELSE GOT MOVED. He went AROUND. Not kidding. I was remiss by skipping the walk around, but the carpets were still damp, and I was dirty from yard work. Here's what happened next-
Mon am text: "Good morning, the young man who cleaned our carpets Fri was very friendly and accommodating, but he may have worked too quickly? The carpets are still damp, and they actually smell worse. I waited these 3 days to text you hoping the smell would improve as they dried, but it's obvious they need to be cleaned. Please consider reimbursing me for what was paid. Thank you."
