Our caregiver Damia was absolutely the best and gave me piece of mind that my son was safe and happy when I had to be at my busy job where I am a manager. Damia not only text me updates and pictures, let me talk to my son, but she went above and beyond the job. She did my laundry and folded it. She swept my house, hand washed my dishes, and even made my bed when I didn't have time to make it this morning. On-Call Concierge service has top nanny's and caregivers. I highly recommend them. Unlike many other services I looked into On-Call Concierge also didn't charge me a finders fee, but instead a flat rate membership fee that included a guarantee of my scheduled caregivers. The caregivers are interviewed twice by Ridwana, go through an extensive interview process, and a thorough background check. After being on Care.com for months and not being able to find a quality person I could trust with my son I finally feel good about leaving my son at home when I need to. :) Thank you Damia and Ridwana for being so awesome! Jeana took me to all of my appointments and communicated directly with my doctors when I couldn't fully understand what was being said. During my surgeries, she was by my side. When I was hospitalized, both Jeana and Lisa were just a phone call away, always ready to listen and offer comfort. Jeana would check in regularly to make sure I was doing okay. When I was unstable or after surgeries, the team would stay overnight at my home--not just to be present, but to help clean and organize my space. In many ways, they didn't just tidy my home--they helped me put my life back together. Every single one of them--Rosa, Dawn, Nancy, Lisa, and Jeana--played a part in saving my life when everything was falling apart. They are some of the kindest souls on this earth. When the time came for me to move into an elder care facility, their absence left a real void in my life--a noticeable change. I miss them every day. I often think back and realize that without their care and dedication during those two years, I likely would have had to move into a facility much earlier... or might not have survived at all, given my neurological challenges and instability at home.
