I sent a 4 word message to Barbie - "Need You, Prissy Devil." So true. I've had a couple of bad experiences down this way in Sheepshead Bay with cops that were thinking they're above their station, and they're not very honest and they always think they're right and sometimes I suspect they know that they're not right but still act as though they're right and it's just a broken system and the word finest is misplaced and that's the nicest I can be about it. But this could have been written about most American cop shops. read more

Had a incident and have not had any follow-up on it. Detectives came and did fingerprints and they never got any findings. There was no support from them. I had hard time reaching the captain and and getting any cooperation with my situation. They never answer the phone when u call there. Phone just rings. read more

I have received two traffic violations from officers affiliated with this precinct. Let me explain the two situation, after which you will see the reason for my 1-star review: 1- Last year at the very end of December, I received a ticket for making a turn on a red light after going around 2 cars that were double parked for a good 5 minutes. The LIGHT for which i got a ticket for WAS BROKEN! I am still in disbelief that I received a violation for making a turn on a red light that was not working! How can one even get a violation for something that is impossible? The office who pulled me over was obviously new and not experienced. I was nice and respectful and proceeded to defend myself in court. We got to court and I showed all the proof to the judge that the light was broken (I had to go around after the accident and take a bunch of pictures). Obviously i still lost because it was civilian v. cop. The officer was even asked if the light was working and the response was "I don't know." 2- Today, January 30th... and I say this only because I understand that there are end of the month quotas, I got pulled over for cell phone. I WAS NOT USING MY PHONE. I asked the officer what the issue was and he said "I will give you an answer when you give me your license." He did not explain anything to me or where he saw me on the phone. He simply said that the conversation is being recorded...great! I do not understand what the point of ruining someones day is for something that didn't even occur. I suggest that those who have the ability to pull people over and issue violations get better training or focus on the other 40 people who were texting as I was on my way to work this morning, or on the actual crimes going on in the neighborhood that need attention. read more

JUST GOT THROWN OUT ! Officer at front desk staying on social media and telling me wait one minute . ( did this 3 times ) . I asked him one simple question if the officer know if I'm here cause all you're doing is stay on social media , things got heated and of course as gangster that enforce laws they surrounded me and literally through me out the precent because he was acting tough and i was just kept telling him just answer one question . Ps: i went here to ask for more info about the police report which apparently one of the gangsters that left me waiting for 4 hours at the accident scene f'ed up with the paper work because they don't have time to deal with us too busy staying on social media . Zero reviews?? What is wrong with you Brooklyn? NYPD, also known as New York's finest has been protecting the streets of Brooklyn for a long time. I can tell you exactly how long, but it would be more beneficial if you just looked it up yourself. This Precint is hands down, the best Precint out there. If you ever get arrested, you can go to 7-11 right after you get bailed out, because it's literally like 2 blocks away. If you got arrested for something that made you have the munchies, that's actually really beneficial, because this Precint goes through the booking procedure really quickly. All the police officers who work here are also very handsome, kind and caring, and hopefully won't give me a ticket if they ever pull me over and I show them this Yelp review that I wrote. read more

What a GREAT Team. My son had an incident today & was taken to Coney Island Hospital. So one of the officers called me to inform me. Also he told me the location of my son's car. They were waiting for us to come to get the car & keys. They explained to us exactly what happened. They were extremely patient with me & answered all my questions . They are the BEST !!!! read more

Always had a respect for police officers, but NEVER in my life again! I stopped by at 2575 Coney Island precinct for a money fraud issue, and whenever I was walking up to the front door I noticed metal fences around the door so it made me think that the front door was closed for some reason. I saw the sign " side entrance" so figured to walk around and find it. Whenever I noticed the opened door I walked in. I had a chance just to say : Hi,I need to file a report" and I've started being yelled at right away " How did u get here??" I told them "through this door which was opened". I DIDNT even realize I was at the wrong entrance which they themselves forgot to lock! So they didnt even let me answer my question when this African-American officer( as later I found out was named Detective Boyce number 653561 detective unit) started yelling at me crazily, constantly interrupting me and not even giving me a chance to explain that yeah I got mistaken that I thought that the main entrance was closed and I saw a sign so figured to find as I thought at that time the right door! NO chances... he insulted me till the last minute for about 10-15 mins, while other officers looked so shocked by the whole situation. I found the courage to come up to a normal officer and ask him to give me a different police location where I would not be treated even worse than any illegal immigrants( while I'm an American citizen), I asked the normal officer to give me the name of this unprofessional and a shame of a Kings County officer, but he woudn't! I had to ask a few times until I finally got his name! Now I definitely have an intention to call to the police check up services and make this abusive cop to take a responsibility for his behavior for the way he treats customers who seek help! I bet this particular precinct has a rating of 2.4 out of 5 particularly because of this cop! read more
