I have always had a good experience getting uniforms here. My tailored items are correct, the staff knows what my department requires for things like class A's, and I get assistance when I need it. Can't ask for much more. It's definitely more expensive than getting basic uniform pants or shirts at other stores. But I like the one-stop-shop of this store. read more

Worst experience ever, spent a lot of money, been in tactical unit so long I needed new Class A's and wanted some knew hats. Thr hat is a joke with a patch so ig it covers both front panels of the hat. If you like to be treated ruddy as your spe di d a lot of your hard earned money this is the place for you. I will only go back if I'm in a bind and just going to buy off the shelf and leave because I deal with rude people all day long long, I don't expect to be treated like garbage by those who supply our uniforms and equipment. Prices are really high, you can find everything they have for 1/2 to 3/4 of what they charge. I took 6 weeks to get a couple uniforms that were in stock and the hat looks so funny you can see it hanging In our agency when you get upstairs. I won't say where. Worst service all around, I had to take all my class A's to another tailor once I get them, they only measure your pant length and thar came 2 inches too long I wear tactical class B most always for the past 9 years, but I found other places to get my pants much cheaper with 9 packets that are close to the body so they don't stick out and buldge. Awful experience! The blonde girl treated me like absolute garbage and was so rude! I'll never be going here again! She was rushing me and I asked her why she was rushing me? They were open for another two hours! I went to look at the other side of the store and she turned off the light! She shouldn't be working here! I ordered an item a few months ago (late fall) and after waiting approx. 8 weeks, the item (rain coat) had not arrived. I called NYE (from a recorded line from where I work) and told them that I was tired of waiting and cancelled the order. I then went directly to NYE and purchased a different jacket which I now have. Long story short, the jacket was never cancelled by NYE and delivered to my work place. I was a little shocked when I saw it mainly because I cancelled the order. I stuck the jacket in my locker for a few weeks and recently had a fellow employee take it back to NYE for me when he was going there to pick up something he ordered. Well the jacket has returned to my work yet again and NYE is now refusing to send the item back to the manufacturer because I exceeded NYE's 30 day return policy. The very same item that should have never been sent in the first place. Did I mention that when I opened the package after it was returned the second time....it was the wrong size. NYE sucks. I have a very generous yearly uniform / equipment allowance at my place of employment and I can assure you that I will never spend another cent in that store again and neither will several of my coworkers. read more

I have been working with NYE Uniform in Troy for a few years now and they are nothing but professional! Large store, great stock...and now they even carry scrubs! It always upsets me when the only people who write reviews are the few who have had an unfortunate experience, so I wanted to step in and say something good.
