Not sure you can find better roofers than Gino and his guys. Gino thoroughly understands his craft,…read moreexplains his process and takes genuine pride in his work. He followed through on exactly what he proposed and was particularly careful to ensure our skylights and roof piping were properly sealed. His crew arrived on the dot as scheduled and are some of the most diligent contractors I've had in 25 years living here, and the work was done quickly for a completely reasonable price. They did such a stunning job, I only wish I hung out on my roof more often!

The best roofing company I've ever worked with. The owner, Gino, went above and beyond from start…read moreto finish. He was very responsive and informative, keeping me updated with pictures throughout the process while I wasn't at home. After giving me an estimate, he even came back the next day to double-check the flat roof area--even though I was only asking for an estimate for the shingles, as I thought that was where the leak was--and to make sure there was no additional damage, even though he didn't know if I was going to go with him to repair my roof. That level of care really showed how thorough and reliable he is. His crew was equally impressive--professional, clean, and clearly experienced. They set up everything flawlessly and even took the extra step of cleaning up my neighbor's area when the work was done. What really stood out was how much Gino goes out of his way for his customers. He even drove all the way from Brooklyn to New Jersey just to pick up the colored shingles my mom wanted because they weren't available locally. On top of that, he made extra installations at no cost, despite already giving me a discounted price, and even provided a brand-new gutter free of charge out of his own pocket. That kind of honesty, dedication, and professionalism is rare to find. I will only recommend this roofing company to my family and friends. If you're looking for a roofing company, do yourself a favor--look no further. This is truly the best. Highly recommend!

My parents' roof was leaking and I needed a roofer urgently…read more I found Hugh after spending a weekend searching for an honest, reliable roofing company. He came out the same day I called, got up on the roof, and showed me the old membrane along the parapet walls was peeling off, letting water in behind it. That explained the leak. Hugh was honest and easy to deal with, and answered all my questions over text. Once he saw how bad the roof was, he prioritized fitting me in earlier than usual. The job was done just 5 days after the inspection, even with a skylight that had to be special ordered. Jorge and his crew did the work. They showed up at 8:30am and worked until 7:20pm to finish in one day. Jorge was friendly and happy to answer questions, and even after such a long day they took time to inspect everything and cleaned up after themselves. They replaced the roofing, installed the new skylight, replaced the rear gutter, and removed the old barbed wire. Price was fair for the amount of work and how fast they got it done. Two weeks and some rain later, no leaks. Everything looks good, and it's a relief knowing my parents don't have to worry every time it rains. Thanks Hugh, Jorge, and the crew!

We had been given an estimate almost 10 times as high as theirs by another roofer. They fixed slates on our roof and we have not had any leaking since then - it has been a couple years and no problems whatsover. Kind, responsive, honest, and quick to do the work: It feels like that combination of things impossible to find these days, but William & Hugh are a great team.

We called Ray and his crew because of his Great reputation, years of experience and…read moreprofessionalism! My family had Ray and his crew install new siding and a new roof on my dad's house in Union City, NJ. There are no more leaks and the house looks brand NEW! They worked carefully & clean from start to finish. Left NO mess. And the price was perfect. Thanks Ray. P.S. Had Ray come back the following year to do the front roof. And again no more leaks.

PROFESSIONAL. That is the word that comes to mind when dealing with Ray. He knows what he is doing…read more He knows his craft. He knows his materials and he understands code. I had many layers of roofing stripped by Ray's team. They placed a new roof for me (and gutters and skylight). There was TONS of debris in my backyard and it's crazy how well these guys cleaned up afterwards. Ray was great with communication and giving updates...even allowing me to go up to the roof to inspect and explain things. For sure I could have found someone more affordable. But cheaper is not always better. It's your home...get the job done right! I am crazy happy to have used Ray. His crew was awesome. If finances work out, I'll be hiring him for my garage work as well. I HIGHLY recommend Ray. You will not be disappointed with the work done. Also, I appreciate that he picks up the phone and shows up when he says he will. I have had issues with contractors that don't show up or don't answer their messages...which I don't get. Ray is wonderful.

My ~20-year-old roof was sagging in the rear of the building and had a small leak in the front…read more The previous roof was clearly not installed by a professional (the openings were not properly flashed and there were no curbs beneath the skylights causing them to sit flush with the existing roof layer). I had been patching the problem areas myself for the last 10 years to keep it going. It was in good shape in the flat areas, well-draining areas, since a reflective coating was applied many years ago, but the joints and roof openings required annual observation/repair. Since it had many layers from the past (current code requires a limit of two layers, before a full tear-off is needed), was leaking, and noticeably sagging in the rear of the building due to some structural issue, I decided to do a full tear-off and replacement. It was difficult to find a company that did not want to just add another layer, but after talking to many contractors, I obtained 4 quotes for a full tear-off and rebuild. Verrazano's quote was near the lower end of the batch. I was impressed with the fact that during the initial visit, they were the only contractor that did not suggest a new layer. He suggested either an inexpensive spot repair to keep the existing roof going, or a full tear-off and rebuild to address the previous improper installation and the sagging section, which he said was likely due to a broken joist (a common problem in flat roofs on older homes). Two weeks later, they showed up on time (8 am), as planned, and completely removed the old layers and installed foam board insulation and the underlayer in one day. All debris was sent down a conveyor attached to the front of the house. I had concerns about debris removal since during recent roof tear-offs on my block I've seen debris either thrown off the roof into the courtyard below, or carried through the house. I found neither of those options acceptable for my work. On the second day, they added the final roof layer, re-installed two existing skylights, removed a sagging rear fascia and replaced it with a new gutter, properly flashed all openings and completely cleaned up. All of the workers were respectful and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them for any job, large or small.

My townhouse had a leaky roof which was installed a few years ago, poorly, by unscrupulous roofers,…read moreusing cheap materials. The problem was exacerbated by the heavy snowfall in early 2026. Larry came to take a look at it after I had cleared the snow off. I inquired about the cost and reliability of putting a new layer on vs. removing everything and starting from scratch. After giving me estimates for both, advising me that removing everything would probably include costly asbestos removal, and that the roof could handle another layer fine, I opted for the latter and signed a contract. Later in the year, when the weather was appropriate, Verrazano Roofing came by and installed a new multi-ply rubber-asphalt roof. The job took 6-7 hours for 800 square feet, and not because it was rushed, but because they were experienced. I'm not a roofer, but in the course of personally patching my old roof multiple times I've learned to spot what looks like good vs. shoddy work, and they did good work. They were very detail oriented and replaced the old cracking sealant on two old skylights I still had in service. There was a day of heavy rain a couple of days after the new roof was installed, and there was no water penetration, as verified by a thermal camera. I also had two decommissioned skylights which were already blocked off from the inside. They offered to take them out for free so that they wouldn't be a leakage liability. I took them up on it and voluntarily paid them a bit extra for it at the end.
