I gave them a try and wasn't disappointed. Cons- NONE Pros- First and foremost, they were on time each and every pick up. On my last day in town, they actually arrived about 10 minutes early. During this time of Covid-19 and all the other illnesses going around , cleanliness and sanitary environments are crucial for me. The cleanliness of their vehicles were superb. All vehicles were up to date which made me feel luxurious. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I'm very satisfied.

I booked a ride to the airport for this morning with these folks based on a Facebook ad. I saw that they have very few reviews/online presence, but figured it was worth a shot. That was a mistake, it turns out. Even though I confirmed the ride the night before with David, our driver, I ended up outside my home 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time with absolutely no communication and their phone number going straight to voicemail. My best guess is that this is a hobby for someone and not a serious attempt at a business. Cancelling the ride last minute would be one thing, but to not show up, not communicate about it whatsoever, and have your phone set to voicemail? This "company" is deeply unserious and should be avoided. Editing post-business response: I think it's important to note two corrections from the business response: 1) No one reached out "immediately". Someone reached out 30 mins after our scheduled time, saying they went to the hospital "last night" (we were contacted around 6 AM, after texting and calling multiple times, when our scheduled pickup was at 5:30). I wish someone did reach out immediately when the incident happened the night before - that would have been far more acceptable than radio silence until a full half hour after our scheduled time. Not sure why that didn't happen when the incident occurred instead of waiting until after our pickup time. 2) We were offered 50% off of a ride, not a complimentary ride.

My line dude was Cameron and he was great and very communicative throughout the process. The whole team was courteous, professional, and just on top of everything especially during a chaotic few days! I'm really grateful for finding them to wait in line and then ship my item, a special signed vinyl. This by far beats buying from resellers who will hike up the price for pure greed. By finding Line Guys, I paid face value for the item and helped support a local and black owned business vs scalpers/resellers so that is excellent. There was just a bit of sticker shock when it came to shipping the item but that was not Robert's fault, I should've asked more questions to clarify the process of shipping but now I know for next time. Even though shipping was higher than expected, money still didn't go to scalpers but to a local postal retailer. The item was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. I won't hesitate to reach out to Same Ole Line Dudes again if I ever need something from NYC! Thanks Robert and team!!

She updated me when she arrived and told me her place in line. This service is much better than using the rabbit service because they can purchase what you need without the $100 limit that the rabbit has for line sitters (and the rabbit line sitters are all more expensive, both in NYC and Oakland, CA where I had also looked for another show for this concert). Gigi sent pics of the updated merch list while in line and I was able to adjust what I needed. She purchased everything for me and luckily I was meeting with another line sitter, Robert, the next day at MetLife Stadium, so I was able to get my merch from him since he was able to meet with Gigi the day before. On Thursday morning, Robert updated me when he was on the way to merch and once he arrived he let me know which place in line he was. He let the people around know I'd be arriving so there wasn't any confusion with the other people in line when the switch took place. I'm actually shocked at how well priced and affordable the services are. Gigi and Robert were absolutely amazing with their communication, very professional, and kind! They were quick to respond and super helpful. With young kids at home it's not possible to wait in line super early, so I'm so thankful that this service exists! I couldn't give higher praise to the company.

The driver, arranged through the concierge at my building, was at my door on time and he got me to the airport in about an hour at rush hour. However: 1. It cost $70 and the guy refused to tell me the rate until we were several miles away. 2. He didn't take cards, only cash. 3. He listened to terrible music and SANG ALONG. 4. The 'free snacks' were Captain's Wafers, an apple and bubble gum. I passed on everything but a stick of gum. 5. He listened to baseball on the radio. 6. He talked on the phone a lot. 7. He acted like he had to take a toll road and I should pay him for it. I knew he didn't have to do so, so he eventually relented and paid the toll himself. The ride was plush, not bumpy or uncomfortable, and I got where I needed to be. I don't know that I'd bother with this service in particular again, though.
