I have a friend who's daughter brought her 2019 Chevy Equinox to this shop for engine repairs back in late August early September. Now her going here by herself she didn't fully understand what she was getting into without having knowledge of auto repairs or someone else who had the knowledge. Honestly though she shouldn't have needed anyone else if this shop owner was an honest and principled person. But because the shop owner is neither of these he took full advantage of this young lady's lack of automotive knowledge. First he quoted her an engine repair of $2300, he had her pay the full amount in advance and only gave her a partial receipt for that payment. He then proceeds to keep giving her the run around as to when the repairs would be done but at the same time telling her the vehicle would be ready by certain days that came and went. Every time her car supposedly was going to be ready he had a last minute repair to it or he wasn't available. Finally after a month of empty promises he informs this young lady that repairs are costing more than he quoted her and he would need to charge her more money! This is a 25 year old that works full time and has children to take care of. Of course that didn't matter to this guy, all he cared about was taking advantage of someone's child! Needless to say the repairs are not complete and the vehicle was retrieved and will be taken to a reputable repair shop. Please Detroiters be aware of this ingenious business and its behavior. We should never tolerate this type of treatment in our community.

I called and they promptly looked up my vehicle need and found my rim for $45 with exchange of the old rim. That price was much cheaper than the others wanting $130+. I arrived and waited about 15 minutes for them to find the rim and mount my tire ($5 extra). Overall I have been satisfied with the service and selection of salvage parts. TIP: They don't put the parts on when you buy them from the counter. They open at 8am on Saturday and you should arrive early since they close at 2pm.

Their prices are good, not super cheap, but they definitely wont break your wallet. If you're in a pinch and need a new tire, they'll install one for you for 20 bucks. They do oil changes and all the basic regular maintenance you need for a car. If something is broken, they will use their huge salvage lot inventory to find a replacement part. If they dont have it, they can get it from elsewhere. Each time my car has been fixed, theyve done a phenomenal job. The one downside is that you will probably have to wait, because they are very busy. But once its your turn, they're quick to get you in and out. I'd recommend arriving at 830 or 845 am and waiting for them to open. Then you'll be out in no time. Otherwise, bring a book and take a seat!
