The front desk lacked basic hospitality, and the overall vibe of the building was unwelcoming. I arrived early, yet still had to wait past my scheduled appointment time. I was also required to pay and tip before even receiving the massage, which felt unusual and set the tone for the rest of the experience. When the session began, I was questioned about why I selected my service, which was confusing since it was listed as an option on their own website. As someone who hasn't had many massages before, I expected at least a basic explanation of the process, but that never happened. I've had cupping done at other places, so I'm familiar with the general method--cups are typically placed and left in certain areas. Here, however, the approach was completely different. The cups were not only left on, but also dragged across my back while still suctioned. It was extremely painful--honestly felt like my skin was being torn. There was no warning or check-in about comfort level during the process. To make things worse, the massage didn't even last the full hour I paid for. When it ended, the therapist simply left the room without saying anything beyond that she was finished. Afterward, I could hear laughing and gossiping from the front area, which felt unprofessional and off-putting. I came in stressed and hoping to relax, but left in significant pain--so much that it interfered with my ability to go about my day. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This was an injury that kept me from my running schedule for MONTHS!!
