Come to find out, Dr. Chung, who was nice, just said to come back when my nails are infected and he'll do a small surgery to remove any offending nails which are turning in. I need monthly care by trained medical people to cut my nails, not just go to a nail salon, who have stated that I need medical professionals cutting all my turned in nails. I spent a huge amount of energy, travel and $40 copay to go to NW Foot and they didnt help me the way they said they would when I originally spoke with them. David S. Like all medical professionals, this place is busy and has always been there when needed. Dr. Pitta has been very attentive to my borderline high blood pressure and made good assessments. The front staff is friendly and helpful without feeling rushed. When I call in for an appointment, they can usually get me into another doctor or make a suggestion. Dr. Pitta is the kind of person that will wave to you in the hallway. She asked probing questions and really that's the time to listen. I'm very happy Tanasborne is on my team.

He said in his notes that I did not want certain options to protect my foot while it healed. He actually had not made me aware of my options. He was visibly annoyed. In an accusing manner, he asked if he could trust me to use the equipment. I was confused. I was getting two messages at once. I see that Legacy states that they are committed to transparency, and that they post all reviews. They are aware of these issues with this doctor, and flat out denied that any of my statemented experiences about my appointments happened. Legacy is at fault for this. I do not believe that this was a first offense, as he seemed oddly defensive about my requests for more information. I got no information at all about how to use my equipment, other than that I should use it, i.e. I was not told whether to wear it all night or not. I told the doctor I did not want pain medicine, and he also seemed not to listen to this. All of these errors were avoidable. If he just did the job plainly in front of him, such as giving information and communicating plainly vs accusingly, I would not have a reinjury, and would not have a reason to distrust Legacy.

Following the examination, Daryl informed us that there were no indications for antibiotic treatment. I respectfully questioned this decision, explaining that my daughter's symptoms worsened at night and had been progressively more difficult to manage with at home remedies - a situation we have experienced before. I emphasized that our visit was not impulsive; we had waited eight days to seek medical care. Despite this, we were not provided any treatment or antibiotics. Within hours, we sought care at another immediate care facility where a different healthcare provider diagnosed my daughter with pneumonia. Ten days after our visit to OHSU Immediate Care in Beaverton, I visited a new urgent care facility where the doctor identified the most severe ear infection (in both ears) he had ever encountered. I plan to contact Patient Advocacy Relations in hopes this does not happen to another family again.
