To make it worse they even sent my info to collection without my knowledge. This is the worst outfit that I've ever dealt with. I am very upset about this!!!

My experience with physical therapy in the past hadn't been positive, but I've changed my mind now. ATI (just off Murray) is a great choice for exceptional care. I found the experience with physical therapists, Matt Dunn and Clarke Young, to be exceptional in that they seemed to really care for and connect with all their patients. Annette at the front desk is always cheerful, knowledgeable and able to accommodate changes in scheduling. Everyone's mood there is positive, supportive, and enthusiastic. There is much humor, personal attention, and most of all-encouragement to do our best. Thanks to their care and attention, I'm better able to manage my back problems with less pain and a better spirit. If you are in need of physical therapy, try ATI (off Murray in Beaverton). What really is outstanding is the quality of care that they offer for people with injuries. It's amazing that they are constantly following up and ensuring that you are scheduled and have a solid treatment plan. What's important is that the providers here understand central nervous system pain and don't do anything that can hurt a person. Not all doctors nor physical therapists have learned about this. The staff here are the friendliest of any office I have ever been to in my life! Most medical office staff just try to get payment asap and rush you out. Here they are so patient and sweet no matter how busy they get, and they are incredibly busy. Both Kimberly's were wonderful as well as everyone else whose name I forget. I think Arie is still there; she scheduled, handled billing, she basically did everything. When my insurance was being difficult, she would help me get more visits pre authorized. EviCore was awful, but she dealt with them without hesitation. This lovely woman turned their "not medically necessaries" denials to absolutely medically necessary! If the location wasn't so far, I would go there for feet physical therapy because finding a good physical therapist is so very difficult. I removed one star only because so many appointments are shorter. It is harder to get the longer one hour appointments and when you're coming from far, you want to get the most out of the appointment. But even then they were still worth it. Offering more shorter appointments is of course a higher up decision outside of the location, the actual staff there though are 5 stars all the way!

Dr. Cole spent maybe 7 minutes with me. He recommended a brace and sent me to a durable medical equipment (DME) company. I was measured for a custom brace, but the DME company needed updated orders from Dr. Cole to bill my insurance. DME representative started working with an individual at ROC, then the communication went silent. Roughly a month later we learned that the ROC representative resigned and no one monitored her emails. Found a second person to talk to at ROC and they have now gone silent. Finally reached Dr. Cole's MA and he has now gone silent. Original appointment was in June. It's now August and we (me and DME company) still have not received a response from ROC or Dr. Coles office with a response to a very simple question. I still do not have my brace. This is beyond horrible. There are many good orthopedic alternatives.

Everything went smoothly and my recovery went very well, so when I tore a tendon in my right shoulder playing golf last spring, I returned to his office for treatment. My surgery was originally scheduled for October, but my insurance company denied the claim because there were "no doctor notes attached." The office had 30 days to resubmit the claim, but they did not do so. The surgery was then rescheduled for early March. Before the procedure, my primary care physician ordered my pre-op labs and told me the surgery needed to be completed within 30 days of the lab work. The lab staff confirmed the same information. I called and emailed Dr. Bowman's office to let them know my labs had been completed, but I did not hear back for two weeks. When they finally contacted me, the surgery date they offered was beyond the 30-day timeframe. When I questioned this, the woman I spoke with told me, "Oh, that's okay, we do surgeries up to 90 days after labs are taken." I explained that both my doctor and the lab had told me otherwise, but she insisted they were wrong. After the problems with the insurance authorization, the lack of communication, and the conflicting information regarding pre-op requirements, I decided to seek care elsewhere.

Maestas gave me the worst "physical exam" I've ever had, barely testing me and then dismissing my pain as "tendinitis" and acting as if I was making up my pain. Not only that, but she completely ignored my hip and did not put a referral in for that part of my body whatsoever. Then when I called to tell them (multiple times) they acted as if I never had an exam on my hip, when Maestas forcefully moved my hip to examine it (causing more pain) during my exam. This place does not pay attention or care for their patients, they want you in and out. And don't even bother trying to contact them via phone or email, it's nearly impossible to ever get through to anyone, and when they do answer they are incredibly rude. I had to hunt them down multiple times to get them to send my referrals that they kept somehow forgetting to send? Which pushed my MRI out for WEEKS. When I finally got my MRI, the injury clinic called and left a short voicemail downplaying my injuries and telling me "3-6 week" heal time, come to find out my injuries are severe and can take 4,6-12 months to fully heal. When I called for more information such as thorough explanation of what my injuries were / what I should be doing and not doing, aftercare, PT etc, they kept talking over me and barely giving me any information. This place will not take your injuries seriously, and when you speak up for yourself they will mock you and become even more unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude. I'm warning you, stay far away from this place. They should not be in business with the way they run things.

I was dreading making an appointment with a specialist before calling sports medicine Oregon. To my surprise making the appointment online was incredibly easy and I was able to complete everything without any need to call and speak to anybody. That was awesome! I don't have a lot of time in my day to call and go through the endless back-and-forth of trying to find a date which works. Of course with any medical provider the equality of service is the most important piece. I felt as if the doctor took the time to understand my problem and to learn what activities I wanted to get back to that I wasn't able to. He suggested physical therapy exercises that I may not have tried before and quickly made a referral to get an MRI after I told him all of the different things I had tried before coming to see them. While no one wants to go see a doctor, if you do need to see a sports medicine doctor, this is the place to go.
