My nails are out of control and often getting infected. I called NW FOOT and Ankle and told them I need to have regular nail cutting help and they stated they would take care of me. Come to find out, Dr. Chung, who was nice, just said to come back when my nails are infected and he'll do a small surgery to remove any offending nails which are turning in. I need monthly care by trained medical people to cut my nails, not just go to a nail salon, who have stated that I need medical professionals cutting all my turned in nails. I spent a huge amount of energy, travel and $40 copay to go to NW Foot and they didnt help me the way they said they would when I originally spoke with them. David S. I can't say enough good things about Dr Kemp. I was searching for a new physician after my primary…read morefor more than 6 years began to have longer and longer wait times to see her, then longer wait times to see PAs. It got to where I had to schedule my yearly Pap 6 months in advance, and regular visits (once for bronchitis at least 3 weeks out) as well. Dr Kemp was a physician at a local practice with several other physicians. About 6 months after my first appointment, I was alerted that she was moving to her own private practice a few blocks away in Orenco Station. Her staff consists of a very professional (and delightful) office manager and one of my favorite nurses ever; as the practice has grown, she's added a nurse assistant. The clinic is in one of the cute Orenco Station townhouses; very elegant with an Italian theme and three clean, comfortable rooms. Dr Kemp has helped me manage my medical issues with compassionate care. She is very professional, yet warm, and always takes time to explain to me what the issue is and the treatment approaches. When I had an on-the-job foot injury a few years ago, she worked with my podiatrist and Worker's Compensation to make sure the process leading up to the surgery (by the podiatrist) was smoother than it otherwise could have been (WC is a pain to work with). The only downside of her new practice is that she is extremely popular and *does not* shuttle her patients out the door after the insurance-required 15 minutes - and this means more time in the wait room, but it's worth it for a doctor who truly cares.

Got misdiagnosed by an ND at this practice. Told me I had plantar fasciosis, which turned out to be…read moreinsertional achilles tendinopathy. When I pointed out the pain was not on the plantar fascia, the ND gave me some run-around about "reference pain." I followed the instructions but ended up in a more evidence-based practice about a year later before I made any progress. Definitely changed the course of my life for the worse. Also, far over-invested in the zero-drop, "natural" running orthodoxy. That's a good approach for some people, but it's not a religion.

I have full mobility in the ankle and I'm not easy on it. I run or walk 3 miles a day, do a lot of biking and work hard on the treadmill. We do a lot of hiking on difficult trails and uneven surfaces. I am very pleased with Dr. Le. His care and concern for me was above and beyond. His communication on the surgery beforehand and post-op care was excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Le for your podiatry needs.
