He basically works from his car in the Baltimore area. Long story short: since I put all eggs in this basket, I didn't get the financing I needed by the deadline I needed to meet, so I lost the house. The ONLY reason I have elevated this review to 3 stars, is that Lewis's supervisor wrote an explanation letter to the title company, so that I could get my good-faith deposit refunded.

I did get receive a phone call from Skip, mortgage broker & owner of Revolutionary, the next day. He was pleasant to talk to on the phone and during our conversation I indicated we were just beginning the home buying process but not sure if we would qualify as my credit score was already on the bubble for being Fair/Good and I really can't afford my score being adversely affected even a few points with an unnecessary check. I also let him know I don't work; however, but my husband has a good income yet awful credit. So I stated I was very uneasy about having our credit ran unless he really thought he could help us. I even verbally provided my credit score to him which I knew was within 8-10 points. He insisted he would need to run it to get the full picture. He stated that there are so many mortgage programs out there and felt certain he could find one work for us. Ultimately, I did give permission for him to do so BUT I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM AGAIN despite me leaving multiple voice mail messages and even spoke with him twice as he stated he was on his way out the door and promised to call me that evening. Alas, never heard from this guy again. I'm assuming he couldn't make any money off of us & we just were not worth a 5 minute phone call. All I expected was some mere courtesy by letting me know! He even promised to provide me with a physical copy of my credit score which he is actually mandated by law to do so. Never got it. Beyond unprofessional & rude! Luckily I found a reputable & knowledgable broker who found us a loan. This is my first public negative review of any company because my husband owns a small local business and we know how detrimental they can be to the success of a business. It's unfortunate but this guy deserves it! If you are shopping for a lender, take my advice and get personal recommendations from family, friends, and/or co-workers. DO NOT RANDOMLY PICK SOMEONE OFF THE WEB LIKE I DID.
