I'm sharing my inspiration photos alongside the actual results I left this salon with, because the…read moredifference is unbelievable. I booked a full highlight and arrived at 11:45 for a 12:15 appointment. I sat in the stylist's chair and we spent a solid 20 minutes going over my hair, my expectations, and multiple inspiration photos. I was told the look I wanted was completely achievable. However, the results were uneven, patchy, and visibly over‑processed, with harsh light bands and inconsistent placement clearly visible at the top and sides of my hair. This is not a subtle issue. . . it's a full highlight that looks nothing like what was discussed or shown in my inspiration photos. During the appointment, I voiced concerns about needing more foils, a root smudge or shadow, and some actual color, because I didn't believe using only bleach and toner was appropriate, but I was reassured that everything was on track. When the stylist finished, even she acknowledged the visible striping and said she "needed more time" and "should have done more foils," blaming the front desk for not booking enough time to complete the service properly. That is not the client's responsibility. I requested a refund due to the clear quality issues and the stylist's own admission that the work wasn't done correctly, but the salon refused. I'm now having to pay another professional to correct the uneven, over‑processed areas. It's honestly shocking that a salon would treat clients this way instead of standing behind their work. Save yourself the stress. Stay away from this salon. I'm sharing my experience so others know what happened and what the response was when I asked for a fair resolution. I literally look like Kelly Clarkson's 'Miss Independent' album cover.

Prices are good. Super clean. But what I got wasn't what I wanted/asked for. I even asked if the stylist wanted me to keep the photo out and was told it wasn't necessary. Showed the picture at LEAST 4 times and was told that this is popular cut which put me under the assumption that it was doable. When asked if I liked the cut, I said that I thought it should be shorter. I was shocked when the reply was "Your hairline can only go up so far". Hairline and haircut are two different things. I zipped my lips and just agreed to everything so I could get out of there and get it fixed elsewhere. Now to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Update: Went to another salon and got it taken care of.

This place jumped out at me as I drove on Dallas Rd and I decided to give them a try. The place is nice, and the staff are friendly. The treatments they give for your hair are really good, but the whole appointment felt rushed. Make sure to consult, shampoo, treat, cut, style, and blow dry in an hour? I wasn't really happy with the cut but felt shooed out the door so I didn't really say anything.

I started out coming here a couple times a year for special occasions and such, but found that I…read morereally enjoy a professional blowout and having my hair look nice for several days afterward, so I joined their Barfly membership. You get one appointment a month for $10 less than the regular price, and get a discount on additional blowouts too and a few other perks. (There is also a Double Barfly which gives you two $10 discounted blowouts per month). I think I have had a different stylist each time I have been here, but they are all good. They ask questions about what you are wanting and you can select from a menu of styles. Free drinks and movies to watch also. Most of the time my hair looks good for nearly a week afterwards so it's been worth while. Easy to make appointments online (they have an app too, which I haven't tried yet, but intend to). You do have to provide a credit card for the cancelation policy but that is fair.

Instead it ended up taking over an hour and 30 minutes and I was almost late to my photo shoot. The hairdresser put so much product in my hair it didn't hold more than 2 hours! It looked awful. The blowout itself was terrible and she kept trying to fix it with a curling iron. I spent a ton of money and wasted my time when I could have made my hair look much better myself. I had to wash my hair after 2 hours and redo it myself for another event I had that night. Thankfully I got my money refunded, but I would still never go back. The hairdressers are so inexperienced.

As a starter salon, it's fairly empty of employees, but she's got a groove and I love entrepreneurs. She knows what she's talking about. I had badly damaged hair from a botched color job 2 years ago and didn't want it all cut off and she sealed my hair with a clear coat of some kind and it saved me from having to lose 10" of my hair! She always cuts my husband's hair in a low-no maintenance trendy cut that fits him because he doesn't want to spend any time on his hair but wants to look stylish, too! I really can't ask for more.

Update, Informed my fault for not staying to have it styled before heading home to shower off cut hair and dress for my interview. Maybe I've been lucky in the past? I rarely stay for a style with any hairdresser and haven't had that issue in the past. So my last and final visit, very disappointing. Short version, do not go for a body wave, "S" waves, beach wave.. whatever you call it - you'll leave with a 70s spiral curly perm instead. Just horrible. Not sure how my request was misunderstood, I was clear - I want nothing any tighter than my natural wave - even took pictures and clarified multiple times to make sure. But alas, I got a curly perm. Is my hair treated? Yes, I have highlights on the top layer and she does a good job with color. However, 70% of my natural, untouched light brown hair - I shit you not - is now copper penny red bc the perm chemicals were on my head for OVER TWO HOURS. Am I a moron for allowing it - YES! I was told that 2 - 3 hours was normal bc it's a Korean perm and takes longer / was less damaging. I complained my head felt warm, smelled funny. She checked it. Said no wave - more time was needed. My bad for not insisting it was washed out. I'm sure if washed out earlier, I would have had the wave I asked for over the curly perm I got. Again, nice lady. Was happy with highlights I had gotten 2x. Prices are reasonable. First cut great, not so happy with last. Do not recommend for permanents.
