Even though we arrived early, the line to get in was wrapped around the building. Wynfield's looks unassuming from the outside yet its surprisingly large once you enter. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff did a great job keeping up with the masses. The bar area is huge and takes up a lot of space, but I don't wish it gone; if I was a local here, I would say it's iconic to the venue and evokes a sense of nostalgia to the staff and their customers. There is a decent sized dancefloor in front of the main stage however the stage is not high enough for everyone in the back to get a good view of the band. The overall sound here was pretty good; however, the lighting was horrible. I probably took 200 photos and maybe 25 of them came out great. What's up with the green, red, and blue lighting for the entire show??? Please add some white lighting in there so we can see what the hell is going on. Oh yeah, and the smoke machines only enhance the poor lighting situation so, please keep the smoke down to a few songs, thank you! All-in-all, the two bands, Whiplash (Metallica Tribute) and the Iron Maidens really killed it on this night. Wynfield's is just small enough that we had a chance to meet with the musicians after the show for a photo op, Love this! Although I don't make it to Satellite Beach often, when I do, I look forward to checking out Wynfield's again.

I had a basic vodka tonic and some jello shots (yeah we hung out as if we were in our 30s again). This review is more about the vibe. The place closes at 7 and, in the back, the party continues with a live band and another bar that was great! Looking forward to returning!

Circumventing the law legally, they allow for smoking and as such, it is just as Dalton described the infamous bar in the movie Roadhouse, filled with "power drinkers and trustees of modern chemistry." My barkeep for this afternoons soiree was Erin. Like the establishment she plies her trade in, Erin is a monument to the 70s, when, no doubt, she was most likely a top notch catch (I mean this in nothing but a good way). She is efficient, humorous, engaging and man, can she pour a whiskey correctly! Well over a 2 oz. pour on my Dewar's. Glancing at the menu (see pictures) I decided to stick with my first impression on name only and passed on the delectables offered. Hey, I am sure they are fine for what they are, pool hall food, but it's just not my cup of tea. The Scotch, on the other hand, is right up my ally and as such, with pours like the one I got from Erin, you can bet sweet biffy I'll be back. The rating here is obviously all about the barkeep and the pour. Anyway he would bring me here and we would study, play pool, ping pong, table soccer and occasionally I did karaoke. The only thing I didn't like was experiencing dizzy drowsy feelings. It's a non alcoholic place and drinks weren't new to me. The experience always changed. It wasn't consistent. Certain employees would charge differently. It was just a mixed experience for me even.
