I'm nuts over Nuts Factory. I first discovered it during the pandemic--Flatiron location-- and was impressed due to the variety of sweet and savory snacks. Amazing. In the last couple years, Nuts Factory found a home in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. And they continue to expand. This Manhattan location, in my opinion, is by far, the largest. Maybe even flagship. It was closed to the public earlier for a private event and I was lucky to get an invite. Networking with individuals in my industry, there was wine tasting courtesy of a gorgeous vineyard in the Sonoma Valley and sweet/savory bites to nosh on. The staff of Nuts Factory were courteous and friendly. Keep in mind, this is just the type of business to consider gifts for friends, family, customer and clients--any occasion. Everyone who attended tonight was gifted with an eight section "create your own box" treat, a double bar of Dubai Chocolate and a Tres Leches Cake. Just FYI Nuts Factory has a variety of Gummi candy including Swedish, Dubai Chocoalte, a variety of nuts coated in Pistachio, Cocoa, Oreo crumble, pretzels coated in just about anything, Rugalah, teas, and the list goes on and on. Was here for an event and they have such a le assortment of nuts, chocolate, candy, dried fruit and more. We got to make gift boxes and it's a great idea to do with someone for a birthday. They were running a special promotion where you could get a free Dubai chocolate bar and then another one if you reviewed them online, so I had to come by and get my free Dubai chocolate! I ended up choosing the Dubai chocolate baklava (chocolate covered baklava ) and the angel hair one (pistachio and cotton candy) and they were both quite substantial in size. In terms of taste, I think they're both just alright though honestly. The baklava in the dubai chocolate bar tasted a bit old, not spoiled, but not the taste that fresh baklava has. The angel hair one was a little better, the cotton candy added an interesting textural component to the bar. I think overall though, the original Dubai Chocolate Bar they make is much better. I think in both instances, the other components mask over the pistachio instead of working with it. I think their classic bar is the perfect ratio of chocolate to crispy katafi, to pistachio cream. So next time I come back, I think I'll just stick with that. read more

I bought one bar for about $20. The gold one was $80. When you break off a piece it's liquid inside. You have to eat the whole thing. You can not pack away or the inside will come out as it's liquid. I first heard about The Nuts Factory in a news article that mentioned their Dubai chocolate bars. I visited the website, saw that the store was selling two Dubai chocolate bars for $50 total plus any applicable shipping and handling. I ordered the two Dubai chocolate bars as well as a platter of assorted roasted nuts for a total of $80. The next day, The Nuts Factory shipped my package via UPS. The next day, UPS delivered the package to my house. Although the weather was not hot, the ice packs for the chocolate bars had melted, but the chocolate bars and the nuts were still in excellent condition. The Dubai chocolate bars were a large size; contained milk chocolate, pistachios (subtle flavor), and kadaifi filo; had a partially crispy texture; and tasted very sweet. The dry-roasted nuts were salted cashews, salted pistachios, salted hazelnuts, salted almonds, salted pecans, salted macadamia, and bbq cashews. I just love coming to nuts factory! They have just about every type of nut, with multiple flavors from sweet to savory. They have Dubai chocolate, gummy candy, and a little cafe at the back. You can buy pre packaged sizes of nuts or you can get your own little bags with just a little or filled to the top. My favorites are the candied cashews and candied pecans, the macadamia nuts, and the salted almonds. I also really like the Bomb mix. Nice little kick! The line was about 8 people deep to check out but it moved quickly with the two registers. They only accept cards I believe. A must try for when you're hungry for a snack! read more

Bad products and terrible service!!! Had a large order of nuts delivered with doordash. The nuts were stale and to return them it took two visits to the store and an hour of wait time to get the refund as they were waiting for management approvals and transferring me back and forth to doordash that didn't pickup the phone. I was so excited to get one and also got myself a Turkish bagel. Got some chocolates with hazelnuts and pistachios along with a small box of chilli rice puffs. There are many different types of nuts and chocolates for you to check out when you come here. I ate the chocolate with pistachio nuts and it wasn't as good as the Dubai chocolate where the pistachio melts in your mouth. I really feel like I reverted back to my 10 year old self just being so overwhelmed and happy. When I walked into the store the smell itself just like lead me up and down the aisles. I wanted to see everything. I don't know if they allow tasting because I didn't ask. There was just so much different types of nuts (covered with so many different yummy flavors), licorice of all kinds, gummys of all kinds, chocolate of all different types plus a whole lot more. The store was big bright and clean. I literally was looking for the original Dubai chocolate bar and they had it. They offered different flavors but of course if I am going to spend $20 on a bar of Dubai chocolate I had to get their popular original bar. This place is really amazing. I had an absolutely miserable experience at this store. Google says they are open until 10pm. I came in at 9:20pm. They told me at 9:25 pm that they close in 5 minutes. 3 minutes later, with a look of absolutely fury and impatience, Danraj from the cash register halfway across the room told me that the store closed at 9:25pm. It was clear that he wanted me out, immediately. I told him that Google says the store is open until 10pm and that they should update it and the sign on the door. He said there is no sign on the door. He is right. What kind of store doesn't declare its opening hours? Danraj can burn in hell and Nuts Factory can burn in hell. I have spent so much money here over the years. I will not spend another dollar here, because clearly they don't want my money. There are signs throughout the UES store about using scoops and tongs, yet employees might as well be washing their hands in the merchandise, they NEVER use utensils as they transfer merchandise in & out of the bins by the armload. It is SO GROSS. Yeah, they're wearing gloves, gloves that look dirty, that when caught offguard they admit they change rarely, that they do not remove after touching non-food surfaces, money, scratching their nose... possibly take a pee break? You'll first be greeted by the amazing smell of freshly roasted nuts, so it's always off to a great start. This store is relatively new I believe and I've been to one of these stores until today. I'm impressed ha. It reminded me a little like It's Sugar but for nuts. There are basically two main aisle and you can use a ziplock type bag(provided) or they have trays pre cut with holes so you can fill up from types that way. There are nuts, flavours, types, chocolate covered etc. They also have dried fruit and spices as well. They even have candy too. Everything is in see thru bins and the lids have Velcro so they stay open(nice touch) so make sure close it when you're done. There are scoopers and plastic bags all along where there's anything to scoop. Staff was nice here as well. I only got a few things this time but lll be back. I was craving candy, and I know that the Nuts Factory also had candy. I loved the candy selection in Israel, and I had a lot of hope for this store location. I found that they had large and small Coke-bottle gummies. I bought a small amount of that, and it was a fair price after being weighed on the scale. When I tried the gummies, however, they weren't as good as the ones I had in Israel or that I could purchase at CVS for a cheaper price. They had an interesting chemical aftertaste, and they also had an interesting consistency. I also noticed that there were not the friendliest interactions that I had with the employees in the store. Although they aren't rude, they don't acknowledge you either. I would say if you go here, maybe try the chocolate. That looked good. read more
