We are so happy this location exists because the options available are so fantastic all the time and the quality of the meat is great. Their staff are knowledgeable and can help direct you or answer any questions you may have. They can recommend cook times and seasonings as well! We often come by on Fridays and explore the different cuts of meats available. We usually bring home a ribeye or two, but we have definitely brought home sirloins and porterhouses as well. None have ever disappointed. They do weekly specials on different cuts of meat and it is a great way to try new things if you like! Most recently they have incorporated some marinated steak tips into their offerings and I am excited to try those soon. Definitely recommend this local butcher! My stomach felt terrible and bloated after eating a sandwich... I double verified it was the cause…read moreby trying another one. The sandwich portions are sometimes frozen for a long time.. rather than using freshly glazed and broken down meat. It's fresh if you buy a full ham or turkey - but the sandwich meat is the oldest. Unfortunately. The meat is sometimes older, but frozen when it arrives to the store , then is thawed and prepared in a reasonable time. The best fresh hams and turkeys are broken down into pound bags of slices, and the unsold slices then go on sandwiches later. I suggest buying the meat by the pound and make your own sandwich. The meat comes frozen, thaws in the cooler, gets blasted with the torch and gets hot/room temp, sits again in the cooler for a few days... then gets broken down and sits for a lil longer in LB packages, then finally it becomes sandwich worthy?? After it's been glazed over a week ago. brought out of the cooler to bag up into portions and sits back in there for a while, and then finally gets put into the sandwich bar or gets frozen and put on sandwiches way later. The sandwich meat needs to be fixed - and I don't think it's a good representation of what the meat actually tastes like. For catering orders especially... The meat should be freshly prepared and they will be way more likely to order it again..

Friends told us about Bombay Bazar in the strip along Clarkson so when we needed a fresh bag of…read morebasmati rice, this was the place I went. I found a very neat and well stocked grocery. This is so close to home it will certainly be our place for Indian cooking ingredients. They have a very complete array of the things you would expect. It is not a large place, but I was impressed with their selection. For example, you expect the extensive range of pre-mixed masalas for every conceivable dish, but Bombay Bazar has this array in at least four major brands. It is almost overwhelming. The breadth of selection is true for most areas, from rice to flour to any of the dry pulses you could want. They also have a good refrigerated section as well as some fresh produce. Since having some very good Channa Masala in Chicago last weekend, I have been craving Indian cooking. This visit aggravated that condition. Bombay Bazar is a welcome addition to the community. I wish them well so that we have this source close at hand.
