Absolutely phenomenal service, cared what we thought of the food (they asked everyone their opinion at the table) and attentive. Very simple and industrial, farmhouse feel...looks to be a great place for drinks and apps during happy hour too! In addition to the huge market area inside, there is a bubble tea stand, hot food with seating, and some skincare products across the front wall. The market itself is kind of amazing. There was an extensive selection of fresh Asian fruits, vegetables and herbs at great prices. Once we got into the aisles, there was, again, a huge selection - some of our favorite things were all the bottled sodas/coffees, the mochis and all the vinegars/sauces. In the back there is fish area that has live crabs, lobsters and even eels in addition to fresh fish. There is also a halal meat counter. We saw packages of frozen scallops, frozen crab legs and ground lamb that we plan to come back and try. I can't wait to return.

This is so close to home it will certainly be our place for Indian cooking ingredients. They have a very complete array of the things you would expect. It is not a large place, but I was impressed with their selection. For example, you expect the extensive range of pre-mixed masalas for every conceivable dish, but Bombay Bazar has this array in at least four major brands. It is almost overwhelming. The breadth of selection is true for most areas, from rice to flour to any of the dry pulses you could want. They also have a good refrigerated section as well as some fresh produce. Since having some very good Channa Masala in Chicago last weekend, I have been craving Indian cooking. This visit aggravated that condition. Bombay Bazar is a welcome addition to the community. The smell instantly reminded me of India, which is automatic points. This location has all the familiar grocery items with a large selection of frozen goods, ready-to-eat snacks and all the spices one needs. They also carry fresh fruits and vegetables along with most brand-name basmati rices. I'll probably keep coming here after my west-county Costco runs.
