I decided to see Dr. Jeff Listiak at Nuspine Chiropractic in Vista after having some nagging neck pain for several months, but it got much worse after a long plane ride. Oooh my goodness!!!! Best chiropractor and office hands down in North County. Ok so I suffer from debilitating headaches. Not migraines just above average headaches! Nothing and no one has been able to help me! I have seen specialist, neurologist and each person has a different diagnosis and opinion. At the end of the day I just want them to go away! I also don't think drinking more water and getting more rest is the answer! Anyways I was desperate... someone suggested chiropractic care. So I looked around and found NuSpine I called, got a same day appointment and my initial consult/ adjustment was just 30 bucks! I walked in almost in tears hoping and praying this would help! After all I'm desperate at this point. The doctor came in, didn't bore me with his degrees or try to teach me medicine. He was nice, kind, a good listener and efficient. He completed his exam, adjusted me and then spoke about future treatments! I instantly felt better, now I know the headaches won't go away instantly but to get adjusted and feel even the slightest bit of relief is a gift from God! Honestly this business deserves more than 5 stars! If you need an adjustment, suffer from neck or body pain, headaches etc... come here and see them! Ok well I have been coming to this particular Nuspine in Vista for about five months now and think I'm ready to tell my experience here with Dr Jimenez and Dr Brown. I originally came into this Nuspine chiropractic because I was dealing with a severe sciatic nerve pain. I had been dealing with this pain for a little while now and it was getting progressively worse. I was having trouble getting out of bed, let alone doing any kind of movements, like bending or twisting. I had already been to the emergency room, seen a doctor and was only given medication and told to stay off of it. So as a master mechanic and slugger on the ol rec league softball team I was desperate to find a solution to get some relief. Saw an add for Nuspine and came in for a consultation and adjustment. The office is clean with new equipment and very casual atmosphere. At this point I had nothing to lose, so I set up a weekly plan for treatment to help with the sciatic nerve pain. I started off seeing Dr Brown for the first 4 months and stuck with her. She really helped me with my back issues, the combination of the adjustments and some diligent stretching I was crawling under cars and smashing homers again. I am now under the care of Dr Jimenez and with her continued treatment I'm at the point where I just need periodic maintenance or have her focus on other areas of concern. I am super happy with my experience and care I have received here at Nuspine Vista and will continue come here wether it's for an issue or my general well being. I have sciatica. My first flare up was on march. From March to June i was on physical therapy. It did not get better until I actually stopped physical therapy. So when i had another flare up in October, i knew physical therapy wasn't the answer. I went to Nuspine and saw Dr. L. It was my first time seeing a Chiropractor and needless to say, i had a lot of questions and was apprehensive. Dr. L took the time to explain everything patiently and in only 1 month my sciatica pain was completely gone! The staff are very friendly and attentive and Dr. L is just the nicest man you'll meet. Best chiropractor I've ever been too! First of they beat everywhere in terms of price it can get very costly but at nuspine that's not the case super affordable and great care. Dr. Listiak has such great knowledge and experience and really help you understand the process. I visited yesterday for my first time consultation after speaking on the phone with Lucy who was very nice and able to schedule me last minute as I needed help with my neck. Maybe it's just my body but I went to this location Twice and I left worst than I felt previously. The Dr. was not able to adjust me at all. Once I left, my muscles were tensed and tight. I only went again from the initial visit because I bought a package prior to everything and thought I should give it another chance. I was hoping the first time was just one of those days that my body wanted to be stubborn. Although, I've never had an issue such as this ever. I've been in pain for several days in the worst ways. This is my first negative Yelp review. My chiropractor was closed today so I wanted to find something quick and easy for an adjustment. I was able to make a 1:15pm appointment here. I arrived at 1pm and was taken back by a girl who did basic medical triage. I told her I like quick adjustments and that I have a 10 day old newborn at home. I don't expect to be catered to but their service was horrible. The chiropractor took back 5 patients while i waited in an office with a window so I could see and hear every conversation. The chiropractic was complaining about how vaccines don't work and she's had Covid 3 times with the last patient. By this time they had been just chit chatting for at least 5 minutes. It was now 1:30pm and I hadn't seen her. I ended up walking out. I felt very disrespected. I'm a healthcare worker myself and would never chit chat about controversial topics while a patient was waiting especially if I was running late. read more
