She claimed they were too high risk, a detail never disclosed beforehand, and according to FDA guidance, not accurate. This was especially confusing since she applied the device to my eyelids. She also admitted the treatment had been done unevenly. Despite this, she continued to suggest Botox for the very areas she chose not to treat, even after I clearly stated I wasn't interested. I was left confused, disappointed, and concerned that the results would be visibly asymmetrical. Rather than taking responsibility and offering a refund for a service that was misrepresented and poorly executed, the provider offered store credit. I do not feel safe returning to someone who admitted to making a mistake on my face and disregarded my preferences. I paid for a service based on the provider's consultation and marketing, and did not receive what was promised. This has been a significant financial and emotional letdown from someone I trusted. Christine may have worked at a dermatologist's office, but that does not make her a dermatologist. She also bad-mouthed a former employee for hours who had just quit that week, accusing them of being high on the job and admitting she contacted their previous employers to ask if they had a history of drug use. This is a long overdue review. I had my first appt with Dr. Au, whom share the same last name as…read moreme. (I had to mention it because not many Chinese have this last name) I had a eczema type skin condition since a kid, it have bothered my for so many years. As people would know, you can't really cure a skin condition (or any disease really, what we do is just preventing or boost our own immune system to beat it). Needless to say, he's my savior. Actually I did not believe he can treat me, or any treatment would be effective on me. I was wrong, it worked. Although my condition fought back to the steroid based antibiotics, but it worked like a miracle when we first used it. His diagnose was right on spot, and the treatment gave me few years of peace...then I start to scratch again..but that's another story. My conclusion? If you got him, make him your go-to dermatologist, he knows how to make your skin better, and make you feel confident again. I moved to California, but there's a year that I visited family in Connecticut, and found the time to go to his office in New York again just to follow up my condition.

Dr. Au seems mean but he doesn't mind his patient asking him questions. I do ask a lot of questions, and he always gives me clear answers. I have referred a few colleagues and friends to Dr. Au, and they were all happy that their skin problems were cured by just one to two visits!
