Good selection of food options, decent prices. Very attentive and friendly service. Loved the abundance of side dishes. Food does not take long to come out. The new renovations look great!

I always liked visiting Nuri Village ever since I was in undergrad. I was glad to go here again with my family recently. We ordered: Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles) - Very refreshing and very chewy noodles. - Not bland but flavourable when you add the sauces it comes with. Dolsot Bibimbap (Korean Stone Pot Rice Bowl) - Good blend of the ingredients. - Meal was hot when served and had some good crispy rice. Jjamppong (Korean Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) - Very spicy (be warned) but really good nevertheless. Banchan (side dishes) -They were pretty good but I have to give a huge compliment to the kimchi. It was nicely made- the right amount of spice. It was actually a bit more spicy than ones normally in restaurants so I was surprised. Service was pretty good as well. Highly recommend to try this restaurant. I am glad the quality didn't change as much since I have last been here.

Go-to Korean restaurant in KW region. My friend and I usually go here after classes whenever we're in the mood for Korean food. I ordered the regular bibimbap this time and I found it surprising how it's portion is bigger than the dolsot bibimbap (only about $1 difference).

Another Korean Combo Green Onion Fried Chicken We ordered the boneless half portion, which was actually quite a lot. The chicken was very crispy and a little salty. We recommend eating it together with the green onion on top! Kimchi Jijgae This one was bubbling and boiling when served to us. It was served with rice and a lot of side dishes. There was also pork and tofu in there which was really soft and tasted amazing. The soup tasted great and was a little spicy. Overall great place! We also got our food relatively quick (10 minutes) even with a lot of people in the restaurant.

Probably one of the better Korean spots in the K-W region, I find myself here once or twice every week! Being even more honest, out of all the Korean places in the University Plaza, this is the best one by a long shot. Replacing where Mikey's used to be, the owners of Nuri Village kept the great service and quality! I've tried the GamJaTang, Bibimbap, Rice Cake and many other dishes and none of them fail to disappoint me. Not to mention all the side dishes that are also super good. In this pic, some of our friends and I tried the Buddae Jiggae which is roughly ~$30 and even between 3 people we could not finish all of it. Would highly recommend if you're hungry! Overall, Nuri is a staple spot to hit up if you're near UW or the KW Region. You'll most likely leave feeling very satisfied!

    Half chicken - spicy

Pretty awesome meal! The chicken was pretty good, lots of sauce and flavour. Ordered the spicy and green onion options, I like both but I think I like the green onion a litttleeee more! The spicy one was not that spicy- bit mild. The portion size was great too! Both were ordered and shared among 4 of us. It was enough for us to be full but not bloated full (does that make sense?? Haha) Service was great, tended to us well and met our requests. The place was quite open too making it easier for the waiter and waitresses to see if anyone needs help. The place is fairly roomy as well and can fill a decent number of people. Will be back to try their soups and bbq options!

Good service and food was good too! Just a bit pricy for what you get! Also opening time was confusing. They only open from 2:00pm.

Went their at 9:15pm and they close at 10:00, the server wasn't welcoming at all and was not responsive. Not a pleasant dining experience

We were seated in a booth so it was roomy and comfortable. They had kpop playing on the TV which was nice and entertaining to watch. We ordered the spicy ricecakes and kimchi pancake as our appetizers, which were delicious! It was my first time trying the kimchi pancake, and it was so crispy and fresh. The refillable side dishes were tasty as well, particularly the kimchi radish and potatoes. There were many options on the menu to choose from but I finally settled for spicy bulgogi which comes with a bowl of rice. The spicy bulgogi came on a sizzling plate, mixed with different veggies and glass noodles. I haven't tried glass noodles in bulgogi before but I found that it was a nice addition since it carried the sauce well. It was a really yummy dish and I'd order it again. I'd recommend coming here if you're looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Can't wait to be back for more!

The shop inside is small but had some seating if you wanted to dine in. Staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile upon entering, very welcoming! You would order at the counter and I think you pick up your food as well, we didn't dine in so I'm not sure if they do table service. The Kimbap is made fresh to order so it took them 10-15 minutes to make our order. We had ordered 4 Kimbaps and a bulgogi cup bowl dish. The cup was a bit small for the price we paid ($17 before tax/tip) but the Kimbap turned out to be very large and filling ($13-$14 each before tax/tip for the tuna and bulgogi kimbaps). Although the Kimbap was large and colourful with a lot of nice ingredients, we found a few pieces kept breaking when we were trying to pick it up to eat. It didn't hold together as nice so it made the experience a little messy with the ingredients dropping out. For the price and the Kimbap not holding together well, I'm not sure if I would come back as often. I rather get it at H-Mart for cheaper or make it myself at home. The prices are before tax and tip so it can get expensive for only 10 large pieces of Kimbap. It's worth giving the spot a try though! The Kimbap did taste pretty good and staff are friendly. They do have other items as well such as the egg sando etc.
