    soy + incredible

Overall the taste was great. Ordered half Incredible and half Soy chicken. The incredible had a smooth mayo sauce and diced chili peppers for some spice. It was a good mix of textures and flavours. Wish there was more spice outside of the peppers. The soy was a little sweet for my taste but was a nice, savoury coating. The rice cake in both added a nice chew and the pickled radish was an amazing palatte cleanser. The chicken was overall nice and crispy, however, the chicken was not as juicy as some other places and some pieces were just batter and no chicken. The server was very nice and attentative, it was very smart of them to have a button to notify servers of customers needs.

Went back for chicken again. But this time we dined in rather than take out. The dine in menu is slightly different from the take out menu. They have additional items like corn cheese that comes in a hot sizzling platter, brought to your table. The quality of the chicken and the green onion topping (yes, I ordered the same thing again), was just as good if not better than the take out. With a side of corn tea and the kind owner checking up on us ever so often, it was a wonderful dining experience. Be weary though that the store is slightly chilly. It might be that we sat beside the window, but be prepared that you may want to keep a sweater on.. or something.

Half Boneless Chicken with Green Onion . Taste : 9/10 Price : $17 + tax Service ‍: 9/10 Worth it: 9/10 . Korean Fried Chicken is one of my favorite cheat-day meals to feast for and @kimskitchen_ca did not disappoint. Located beside University and King in Waterloo, Kim's Kitchen is a well-known in its local community for delicious fried chicken such as their Green Onion flavour. The batter was not heavy and one half order came out pickled radish, fried rice cakes and coleslaw. . Tip: Post their food on your Instagram story and receive a FREE pop drink.

This was take out. But I think I uploaded a video of us eating in.

The owner opened up the shop early for us. Really nice guy. I think he was a chef somewhere else before. Alcohol I love how they also have all the flavoured soju and mukgulli. Those things are hard to find in this city. He had a fresh shipment when we went in. Korean Fried chicken / KFC But food is amazing I mean it's also the only place to get korean fried chicken. The KFC comes with fried rice cakes. We got spicy green onion fried chicken. It's spicy in two ways the onions and the spice. But onions make it more spicy for me. But I love it . Both rice cakes Those are so good crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. We also got the normal spicy rice cakes. They're not that spicy I just assumed he toned it down for the general public. But I think I have a higher spice tolerance than most. So if you have a high spice tolerance go for extra spicy if you can.

Kim's Kitchen has some of the best vegetable dumplings in Waterloo! I order/go here often and everyone is always super sweet.

We were seated in a booth so it was roomy and comfortable. They had kpop playing on the TV which was nice and entertaining to watch. We ordered the spicy ricecakes and kimchi pancake as our appetizers, which were delicious! It was my first time trying the kimchi pancake, and it was so crispy and fresh. The refillable side dishes were tasty as well, particularly the kimchi radish and potatoes. There were many options on the menu to choose from but I finally settled for spicy bulgogi which comes with a bowl of rice. The spicy bulgogi came on a sizzling plate, mixed with different veggies and glass noodles. I haven't tried glass noodles in bulgogi before but I found that it was a nice addition since it carried the sauce well. It was a really yummy dish and I'd order it again. I'd recommend coming here if you're looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Can't wait to be back for more!

The shop inside is small but had some seating if you wanted to dine in. Staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile upon entering, very welcoming! You would order at the counter and I think you pick up your food as well, we didn't dine in so I'm not sure if they do table service. The Kimbap is made fresh to order so it took them 10-15 minutes to make our order. We had ordered 4 Kimbaps and a bulgogi cup bowl dish. The cup was a bit small for the price we paid ($17 before tax/tip) but the Kimbap turned out to be very large and filling ($13-$14 each before tax/tip for the tuna and bulgogi kimbaps). Although the Kimbap was large and colourful with a lot of nice ingredients, we found a few pieces kept breaking when we were trying to pick it up to eat. It didn't hold together as nice so it made the experience a little messy with the ingredients dropping out. For the price and the Kimbap not holding together well, I'm not sure if I would come back as often. I rather get it at H-Mart for cheaper or make it myself at home. The prices are before tax and tip so it can get expensive for only 10 large pieces of Kimbap. It's worth giving the spot a try though! The Kimbap did taste pretty good and staff are friendly. They do have other items as well such as the egg sando etc.
