Around the 4th of July and Pioneer Day teenagers set off fireworks in the parking lot late at night, which is a bit of a drag for the people living nearby, but they generally clean up after themselves. I found some broken glass on the sidewalk near the bathrooms a few times, but other than that it had been a great little neighborhood park.

This a good park, not the best and certainly not great, but decent. The park has a few pavilion…read morepicnic areas but no park barbecues. A small playground is also there and usually has a myriad of children rummaging through. There's lots of grassy area for any activity you can dream of. There's horseshoe spots near the back corner as well. One bathroom location, which is as gross as every other park bathroom everywhere. The signs said closed for season (in April) but the doors were wide open so I'm not sure if that's taken as law around here or if anyone cares to check. The toilets are the metal, prison-esque and they're very gross. Not taken care of at all but that's not a surprise or much of an issue for me as I'm sure most park bathrooms are taken care of much. The best part about this park is its location by the Provo River and river trail. An excellent bike or walk path to take. All in all, it's a decent park and good place to start or end your walk/bike/run on the river trail.

The boardwalk is so unique and fun to watch wildlife but wear Bug SPRAY! We were chased out by mosquitos and all of us left the boardwalk trail with 3-5 mosquito bites. I love that the playground has a oval path around it so I can get steps in while the kids play and be able to see everyone safely playing.

There were several picnic tables under a protective roof. The wind was horrible however that day. It was a bit chilly even though it was 75 degrees. The park has restrooms, a water fountain, and several things you can do, riding bikes, running, walking g, and floating the water as well as other things. If you want to come and take a breather and let some steam out, this is the place. There is a five-mile hike if you want to bike, skateboard, walk or run. The hike is amazing. Beautiful scenery. As we were walking we found this really awesome cave! Too scared to go inside though. As you are walking there is a nice creek on the side and picnic benches. Nice spot to chillax. There are bathrooms and also a playground for the kids. They have this cool train you can play on as well. The only thing I didn't see is a fire pit or grill to BBQ. There are a few other spots nearby that have these if you want.
