I got an antique piano from the 1910s which was quite out of tune and had a few silent keys. I…read morefirst hired another piano tuner who could not tune it due to its bad condition. Then I found Mr. Krebs' card inside the piano - he left the card when he tuned it in 2012! I contacted him and he did an amazing job. Not only did he tune the piano (a half note down due to the piano's condition), he also repaired the stuck keys and tightened all the screws. He didn't mind me watching and explained what he was doing when I asked. As an amateur piano player and a mechanical engineering major, I learned a lot about a piano from him and find his approach to piano tuning both scientific and artful. He spent 3 hours on the piano and at the end he was also very kind to offer me a discount since he learned that I'm a student and shy on money. It was a pleasure having Mr. Krebs tuning my piano. He is an expert technician and also a music lover! I would recommend him to anyone who would need piano tuning, repair or maintenance.
