I went to long and Mc and bought a D18 Martin For 3999$ . even if I was wrong , he could have been much more accommodating I am a service engineer and I sm always nice to my customers even when they are wrong .

Mostly are done in Chinese, but I believe that they can also teach in English. They have private tutoring classes as well in Chinese string and woodwind instruments. It's a husband and wife team. Mrs Cheng, a beautiful woman and her husband are well known in the Chinese classical music industry in Canada. They have a number of CD's of various music in their collection of performances. We were shown the $800 dollar GuZheng, but that wasn't what Mum wanted so Mrs Cheng brought our a few others to show. When the final selection was made and the purchase done, she tuned the instrument, offered the free stand and the free chair. We didn't get the chair, but daughter will get it next time. The ones that they had at the time were too small. There was a mumbling in the car of how expensive it was, but that it was more affordable than the other places. The Daughter hopefully really likes it (which she did) and that she'll take the lessons and learn it well. If not, Mom will take lessons! The service was quite nice. And after Daughters first class, she said that she enjoyed it. Soon, the melodic tunes of the skillfull GuZheng student will fill the air in the house with music. A Rhapsody in progress.

I've never seen a store this good anywhere in the US or Canada. It's small, and yet it has so much, a great selection of gongs, chimes, and tibetan bowls, and a few crystal bowls as well as other percussion instruments. I like that they had a wide range of price points, including brand name products (Zaphir chimes, Meinl sound instruments, etc.) as well as lesser known and unbranded products. The guy working there was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and he encouraged me to try out the instruments when I was shopping around. I've done most of my sound healing purchases online in the past, and it's really invaluable to have a place where you can try things out in person. A true gem!

Be careful when you bring them something in for repair. I once bought a rare new Rickenbacker…read moreDakota solidbody guitar from them and one pickup stopped working so I brought it in for repair. When I inquired about it they said they sent it back, never to be seen again. Rickenbacker replacement pickups can be ordered. Another time I bought a new Firebird and it had fret sprout and they said they would fix that. It seemed to take forever and when I finally got it there was a ding in the back that wasn't there before. I brought in a keyboard for repair and they lost the case for the soundboard that was installed in the keyboard. When you bring something in for repair, bring it in bare bones, no strap, strings accessories in the case or they might lose them.

I'm not saying those experiences…read morearen't valid since they sound legitimate, but I've had good experiences so far at this location and have always had people who were willing to take time to patiently explain to me, a lay person, what I needed to know even when I'm doing things that don't generate a commission (like trying to set up something I ordered and paid for at a different store and had shipped here). I wish I made a note of who helped me so I could give them a shout out. My experience is with what I guess they call "Pro Audio & Recording" gear, maybe different departments are different or maybe I've just been lucky so far.
