This was our first time trying this place. We moved to Maryland from Utah just this week and don't have any furniture, cooking utensils or anything really so we were desperate. I have to say we enjoyed our food and it was reasonably priced. I wasn't sure based upon the less than glowing reviews but we would go back for a quick easy meal. The portion sizes are generous. My husband had the Seafood Delight meal and was impressed the amount of seafood in his dish and said it was good. I had the Beef with Broccoli which came with fried rice and an egg roll. The fried rice was light and tasty instead of heavy and oily as it can be sometimes. The main dish had plenty of beef as well as broccoli and was a nice portion size. I will easily get 2 meals out of the dish. I wasn't a fan of the egg roll but I could probably do without the carbs anyway :) We ordered some vegetable lo mien to have on hand for lunch tomorrow but we tasted it and it was very good. I only noticed broccoli in the container as first glance but it's possible there were other veggies lower in the container. Overall it was a good meal that was quick, easy and affordable. read more

I ordered general tso ask to b Spivey and it wasn't the chicken tasted like it was freezer burnt and chewy supposed to come with pork fried rice was just yellow rice. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. read more

Okay in a pinch, but middle-of-the-road quality. Egg rolls were about the size of spring rolls and one of the egg roles had no filling. It was an empty shell. Sweet and Sour Chicken, chicken was frozen and deep fried. General Tso's Chicken the same. Rice was starchy and sticky. This was a carryout order. First time going to this restaurant. The employees are nice. Food was a bit too salty. They half filled all the containers in my order. Also, ordered chicken wings in garlic sauce, don't waste money. They actually took 2 small chicken wings and chopped it into alot of pieces, making chicken bites. Called in order waited 25min and went into restaurant and waited 20 more min. They didn't even began to fix the order until, I arrived. This business only accepts cash, which is extremely frustrating when modern technology allows for credit and debit cards. They desperately need to upgrade paying systems at this establishment and hire more workers. read more

But the reason I gave one star , there very stingy with there yellow hot mustard HUGE NO NO WITH ME, the rice the give u is small, you don't get any extras for spending over a certain amount, never again, and for 30.00 I got half the amount of food I would have received for the same cost at China express on route 50 . Im sorry that i tried something new and went here I should have just gone to my regular Chinese restaurant. read more

Good food for a no-frills chinese take-out restaurant. *Very* fast, too. A word of warning: they don't take credit cards anymore, which surprised me and apparently cheesed off another reviewer. The restaurant does accept personal checks, plus there's a freestanding ATM and two different banks nearby, so payment isn't hard to figure out if you take two seconds and aren't a complete rage-baby about the issue. No sushi or pad thai (which, yes, some chinese restaurants do offer), but they will accomodate special requests, like making me General Tsos Shrimp or Pepper Steak without the black pepper. Plus the staff (family?) that runs the place are very nice. read more

Number 1 Chinese Restaurant, should be number 99 out of 100 Restaurant! First of all they didn't even take a credit/debit card and I had to drive to an ATM, but that's just the beginning of the horror. We got the Sweet and Sour chicken home and searched diligently for chicken among the 5 pounds of fried breading! I might be leaning towards the generous side too. The pork fried rice had so little pork and egg in it that it wasn't worthy of that title! It looked like yellow dyed rice with one or two tiny pieces of pork and egg, absolutely unworthy of being called food. Egg roll was disgusting and quickly thrown in to the trash can. Bottom line is that unless you're starving to death and don't mind throwing away your hard earned money away for an small amount of tasteless Chinese food then this is your place, otherwise avoid it like the plague! I would honestly give it ZERO STARS, but I can only leave ONE STAR so that's what they get. read more

This place has permanently lost by business. Not accepting credit/debit cards or checks under # 1000 really makes it inconvenient to order Chinese food around this area. This is just ridiculous, it's 2015 change you method for accepting payment. read more

A little chinese girl had one table covered with crayons and coloring books. Obviously the daughter of the owner or someone who worked there. Place is not very clean. I waited in my car for 15 minutes for order to be ready. When I walked in, the guy in front of me complained that they had given him the wrong order. They had given my order to him and they looked embarassed. They simply put my order in another bag and handed it to me. I should have complained. Ordered General Tso's Chicken and Spring rolls. General Tso's was bad. Tasted ok, but was extremely dry and tough. Like it had dried out in the refrigerator before being cooked. It was 7:30 pm and did not feel like going 10 miles back there to complain or get my money back. The spring rolls were just ok. A common thing with egg rolls and spring rolls, and this place has the same problem, is that they soak up oil and are greasy. To solve this, they probably should keep the oil in their fryer hotter. Second time I have been there. First time was just OK. They don't accept credit or debit cards. People who live on the West side of Salisbury would do well to drive a little further.
