I went into the Norwalk Nukitchens showroom to inquire about our kitchen renovation. Style selections for modern aesthetics that we're looking for were very limited compared to other kitchen brands/showrooms. I had asked one of the project managers to email me with information on the one modern style that they showed me; and to provide me with an estimate/quote - and left them with all of my contact information (not that I wanted to, but they asked me to fill out their entire form); and they also asked to take a copy of my architectural plans - but never heard back, not a peep! How can you run a sales business and not adhere to the promise you made to a potential client to reach out to them? This is a terrible first impression for any potential client for any business, let alone for those who will be spending tens of thousands of dollars with them. They're certainly not getting my business and I don't recommend working with them to anyone. If service & communication is this bad at this stage, imagine what it would be like to PM a whole renovation project with them - from design to manufacturing to installation!? No thanks. read more

I have yet to write a bad review online but I'm so disappointed with the quality of the kitchen and the lack of attention to detail. we had these cabinets installed 2 years ago and the custom hood has cracked, the custom color paint is chipping. in addition severap mistakes were made during design process- the stove was mismeasured by the NuKitchens team and thankfully I caught that mistake otherwise all of the cabinets would have come in incorrectly. in addition our custom hutch was built up against the window in our kitchen so we can't even fit Roman shades without hitting the cabinet. It was extremely overpriced and we felt completely rushed during the process as they kept telling us we have to order asap or else the prices go up. To say the least it was hard to watch our hard earned money for our forever home go into a kitchen that is breaking down in 2 years. read more

We were very disappointed with our experience with Nukitchens. They appear very friendly and attentive up front. The owner/everyone comes out of the woodwork to greet you. Don't be fooled!! Once you sign a contract, they all but forget about you, actually making you feel like a bother. Any inquiries we had during the process were unanswered until we followed up multiple times. We noticed a cabinet size mistake within just days of placing our order. After being told there would be a fee to make the change, which was fine, they came back 9 days later and told us it was too late to make any changes but they would sell us a new cabinet to replace it (which is their answer to everything!) Questions as to why it took them 9 days to get this information were completely ignored. Once cabinetry was installed, there were quite a few small issues that were left unfinished. They told us these were the responsibility of our GC, when they were clearly things that they should have taken care of. It got to a point where we gave up asking, for our own sanity. Luckily, our GC was amazing and helped us out. Both he and our designer both said they had never worked with a company as unprofessional as this. Once the project was completed, we never heard from anyone at Nukitchens to come inspect the finished project or even follow up to ask if we were happy with it. We originally went to them after hearing about a good experience friends had with them. But that was years ago and things have obviously changed. We have since heard from another couple who recently used them that were also very disappointed in their experience. We can now see from other reviews that this is common with Nukitchens. Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

Very Good Experience - Twice We actually renovated two kitchens with them over the span of about 10 years. We moved about 10 years after the first renovation and the place we moved to had a very old kitchen and we were very satisfied with them so we used them again with the same results. We got a mid-price range kitchen in both cases and while it was not inexpensive it was very competitive with other companies. About 3 years after our second job we noticed that some cabinet doors were out of alignment and asked them to come over and look at it. They found that one door had warped which they replaced at no cost and adjusted the other so that every thing looks and works great. They were easy to deal with and designed 2 excellent kitchen for us. read more

Nukitchen is the worst! To seal the deal they promise you everything and quite literally, deliver nothing. Do not sign their so-called contract... my "contract" was entered into long after COVID-19 became an issue, and Nukitchen specifically promised that the virus would not impact delivery dates. Nearly 4mos later & I have received absolutely nothing in exchange for the $$$$ I paid. The contract provides no promise of delivery & does not allow for cancellation due to failure to timely deliver. Nukitchen strung me along &lied as to when the cabinets would be built & delivered in an effort to deny me the opportunity to cancel the order per what the contract allows: "Cancellation to any portion of this contract after the plan has been released to the Customer, but before fabrication has begun, will incur a 20% fee." 7times I demanded my order be cancelled, Nukitchen refusing to acknowledge. Have notified Connecticut BBB & Consumer Protection Office of the Atty General. read more

We have done three projects with NuKitchens and have had nothing but positive experiences. The contractors were excellent providing high quality workmanship. They were "easy to live with" considerate and neat. Communication between NuKitchens, contractors, and us was facilitated by Pauline, an amazingly efficient and organized person. She coordinated our projects so that every phase progressed smoothly. I recommend them highly. read more

Nukitchens designed our kitchen and recommended the finishes but we got our own outside contractor to do the work as their quote was almost twice the price! No one from Nukitchens ever came back to comment or see the finished renovation... I guess we were not as profitable as other customers. read more

My kitchen was creatively designed with much thought put into the little details . It came in exactly on the scheduled date and customer service made sure to keep us right on target with our installation of the cabinets and countertops since we needed it in before Christmas . Buyer beware. This place is about 30-50% more expensive by the time they are done with you. They price out everything in the cheapest options, get a deposit from you, then up charge you and make it seem like you are being picky. "What you don't like this faux speckled counter top?". The install is very high also. Thank God there are better options everywhere. These are not "designers", they are sales hustlers. You can tell by their cheap clothes and haircuts too. read more

From the moment we walked into NuKitchen, we felt we were in the right place. Having just moved from a community 50 miles away and into our new home, contemplating redoing a kitchen, laundry room and adding a wall of built-ins in the den was overwhelming. Pauline put us at ease. Nu Kitchen is a full service, one-stop enterprise. We were assigned an in-house architect, site supervisor, general contractor, and designers to help select fixtures, cabinets, and hardware. Referrals to local appliance retailers, painters, and lighting resources were provided. We felt grounded and confident that this would be a turnkey project. AND IT WAS! The entire renovation was completed on time!! Erivelton (Eddy) Tibeiro, the general contractor, was professional and made the process of living in our home during the renovation seamless. The craftsmanship was impeccable. We give our unconditional endorsement of NuKitchen. We couldn't be more pleased with the process and the results!!!! read more

Worst customer service ever. Pauline is rude and non-responsive. I noticed a design flaw during installation and she WOULD NOT call me back so we could adjust. When she wants your money, though, she is your best friend. What a phony. The owner is just as bad if not worse. He doesn't deserve anyone's business based on his attitude, lack of compassion, utter rudeness. His mother would be proud. Don't let their installers leave before you check the number of screws they've used to install your drawers. I have deep drawers that hold pots and pans as well as a file drawer in the desk. There are 36 holes in the drawer guides in which to place the screws to hold these heavy drawers. I was having trouble opening and closing the drawers so I took them apart to check the guides. To my dismay, I found it wasn't the guides causing the problem but the fact that they had used only FOUR screws to install the drawers. Lazy and downright disrespectful. read more

Stay away. Despicable customer service once they have your money. Couldn't have been nicer up front, though. I refused to pay 100% up front but sadly did fork over 90%. After multiple issues which bother me to this day, they never got the remaining ten percent. But that doesn't come close to covering the issues they caused in my kitchen. They WILL NOT return phone calls when you have a problem. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

Our designer was great to work with. Then it came time to place our order and bam. A bunch of hidden fees, things that were originally included all of a sudden were not, etc. It was very disappointing to get that far to then be tricked. I walked away immediately!!! read more

Absolute worst service we've ever experienced. STAY AWAY!! We went through an extensive house remodel. They sold us a new outdoor kitchen. They required up front payment, and as soon as they had our money it was a never-ending joke of incompetence and lack of any care in fulfilling what we bought. We haven't even had it for a year and it's already falling apart. Great salesmen. Horrible service. What's amazing is it took us weeks to get a response but when I posted this review on Google they sent me an email within an hour. Pathetic. read more
