Negligent, sloppy, disrespectful, and generally awful business. Disregard any positive review…read morebecause at their core, J&C Kitchen & Bath simply does not care. If you want the job done right, go somewhere...anywhere...else. While ruining your home, they'll also smoke inside your house (that actually happened, in my condo unit!) and leave doors open for pets to go out, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. I was recommended J&C by my GC to remodel both my kitchen and bathroom (although their first line of defense when I confronted them about their shoddy work was to say they had no record of working with me....lol). Less than a year after they remodeled my bathroom, I had to have it COMPLETELY REDONE. They did NOT WATERPROOF the shower, and used what my new contractor said was some of the most negligent, blatantly lazy "techniques" they had ever seen to do the first job. While J&C was working here, I constantly raised concerns about things, to which they would tell me, for some reason or another, that my request or concern was a non-issue, OR I was given a reason for why it couldn't be done (for example, them not wanting to carry something up the stairs). My favorite example is when I raised the concern about the fact that the tub they installed was not level, and they told me the bouncing and cracking noise it made was "normal and my floor is bad." (it's not). They absolutely took advantage of me not knowing technical standards like waterproofing the shower to take the most insane shortcuts. See photos of the unwaterproofed wall that they just tiled over (sloppily), and the subsequent leak and mold forming from their "work". My new contractor I hired to fix the bathroom said what he saw when he came in, and even moreso when he demoed the bathroom, was some of the most blatantly negligent construction work he had ever seen to date. I had to have Cash come back a couple times to fix cosmetic sloppiness....grout left covering floor tile, disgusting globs of lord knows what on my shower edges, chipped cabinets, shoddy crown molding, random gaps in the kitchen......but nothing could have prepared me for what lurked underneath the equally as off-putting surface in the form of a leaking shower that was negligently constructed. I just had to re-do the entire bathroom, J&C will cop to NONE of this. I reached out to give them the option to fix this behind the scenes before I posted a review and reported them but they simply started ignoring my emails. Run far away. Please do not trust these people with your home.

They were very nice to work with in the beginning. They were hired to demo our existing cabinets…read moreand install new ones we purchased from them. When it came time for the demo their assistant refused to wear a mask. We explained that one of our kids just had surgery and we are being cautious to make sure he doesn't get another infection. We asked if he was immunized and they said yes but when we asked to see the card, they said he has a medical exemption. We tried to compromise and asked them to go to Walgreens and get the quick over the covid test so at least we know he's not positive but they said they could not force him to do so. They left the cabinets in our garage and left saying oh well it was covids fault. We've called a few contractors as they've left us in a very difficult position and would t have gone with them if they were up front about their position and they were all dumbstruck that they didn't fulfill their agreement because of a paper mask and suggested contacting the contractors board. I guess my warning to others would be to beware as they seem amenable in the beginning before services are paid for.

Creative had previously done our bathroom vanity. We were able to work with Greg on the redesign of…read moreour kitchen which was a total rehab. A good selection of cabinetry and countertop materials for what we needed. One of the advantages of working with this company is they provide an all in price which includes design, fabrication, demolition, electric and plumbing work, drywall, installations of cabinets and all appliances as well as paint. They coordinate everything. Agreed on a schedule and they kept it. No issues with "extra" work coming up during construction either. They are very interested in customer satisfaction. There were some crossed signals on communication but we were flexible so no big deal. Recommend them for kitchen bath work large or small.

TL;DR - Just don't do it. Especially if you are having them install countertops. The lack of…read morecommunication is infuriating during a process that many aren't familiar with. They don't answer (phone calls, texts, emails - you can't leave a VM for either Howard or Jose) and I had 2 no-shows during this arduous process. Well you have called me 2xs and texted me 2xs asking for my review...here you go. I went to the showroom to look and discuss countertops on February 18th, met Howard gave him my measurements of my kitchen, told them we wanted a waterfall. Not once did he mention my island was too large and told me we would need 2 slabs. He did mention my upper cabinets were high, but that during template they would double check (I told him, yeah the design has our upper cabinets higher than standard due to having vaulted ceilings in our home). He recommend I check out Nash Stone (loved them and their selection. Gabby was super responsive, Nash has great customer service!) I picked out 3 stones and by February 25th (a week later) emailed Howard with pictures and asked for price quotes...AND AGAIN GAVE ALL MY MEASUREMENTS + plus the measurements for A WATERFALL. Still did not mention my island is too large. Had to stay on top of him into March but did get a price quote to which I was told I needed to send in the check to hold the stone. When I sent the check in March, Howard just ghosts all calls or texts until early April. By then the stone I wanted was gone, so I had to run back to Nash and picked out a new stone on April 1st. He wakes up April 5th and tells me April 10th they will come to template. They never show. I was told they forgot my house and finished for the day, cool. So they show up to template on April 11th (take my sink at this time too- we will come back to this) and this is when I am now told my island is way too large. Can't accommodate an a waterfall edge, would need a seam for the stone and they recommend taking out 2 cabinets out of island. I emailed Howard that night, and he never ends up getting back to me. In fact, no one will answer me. Can't leave a voicemail his inbox is full. My husband ends up calling...using a different number and wow would you guess who picks up...Howard. He then pushes us off to work with a different designer, Jose. Real nice and super professional move (*I'm being sarcastic here). Jose does come to our house, and explains that we will need to take out the 2 cabinets. Which honestly is just so frustrating to get to this point and learn this. He also mentions several ways he would have designed our kitchen differently, cool super helpful. My contractor comes back rips out the 2 cabinets (goodbye $1000) they come re-template. Now we are well into the middle of May, we get a call on Sunday 5/21 to set up for install saying it will be Tuesday 5/23 and Wednesday 5/24. MONDAY NIGHT AT 6PM, night before install, Jose is rapidly calling us to tell us, our sink is too large. The sink they have had SINCE APRIL 11TH. He is trying to push us to buy a sink off of them, by some luck my husband finds a new sink in the "correct" size (we wanted a workstation sink) and since they have had this sink since April 11th, I now cannot return the sink (goodbye $614.81). They come and do the backsplash that Tuesday 5/24 and then DO NOT SHOW (no phone call, no text nothing, which I took off of work to be there) on Wednesday. You would think they would of said something that Tuesday that they wouldn't be there, or ask for the new sink? I call 4pm on Wednesday the main phone number asking why no one has come and the woman does not have an answer but tells me they need the new sink delivered by 5pm to either Selden or East Northport location. The lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE with this company. I guess if you are not having a full kitchen design you are not a worthy of their time. Thank you for adding an additional 3 months + wasting $1,600 to my renovation that did not need to be. I will not be recommending this company, ever.

We would 1,000% hire Dream Kitchen Designs again!…read more We wanted to completely renovate our kitchen, and compared quotes from a local business, Dream Kitchen Designs (a.k.a. DKD) and a big box store (Lowe's). Right from the beginning, DKD was extremely responsive and personable, whereas Lowe's was the complete opposite. We decided to stay local and hire DKD, and we are so incredibly happy that we did! Quoting: Andrei and Andreea always answered our many questions (big and small). Whereas, we had trouble getting in touch with our Lowe's kitchen contact based on her store schedule and lack of a direct extension. DKD also easily beat Lowe's prices (Lowe's subcontracts so their prices were inflated). Also, DKD allows you to buy whatever materials (flooring, backsplash tile, grout, lighting, etc.) from whatever store you choose, whereas at Lowe's, you must buy from their limited choices. Timeliness: Andrei and his crew were on time every single day, and worked diligently and meticulously. These guys don't waste time. They also asked to work each Saturday, which we were always cool with. Quality: All of the work was superb (complete demo, new floors, new cabinets, new countertop, updated electrical & plumbing, painting, etc.) and finished within the estimated timeframes initially given. There was a great sense of care and attention to detail for each phase of the installation. We're **beyond thrilled** with the final results! Communication: Andrei and Andreea's communication was always clear and frequent, which we especially appreciated. It was very personalized service and Andrei is very open to phone calls and text messages. Note: DKD may seem new since they opened the kitchen storefront 2 years ago, but Andrei and his team have been in business for many years. Our kitchen is now incredibly gorgeous, and we can't stop admiring it. It's hands down the best room in the house. Again, we would 1,000% hire Andrei and DKD again for any additional work!

After meeting Andreea at the showroom and choosing Designers Choice cabinets, (all of the cabinet choices at Dream Kitchens are of superior quality, believe me we did our homework! ), Andreea went right to work on designing our kitchen based on my measurements and specs. Andreea gave us many options on layout and was very knowledgeable about the products and design. No matter how many changes we made, Andreea addressed each one with a smile and a positive attitude. We then met with her husband Andrei at our house. I told him my ideas, he helped me tweak them, before we finalized our design to paper. Andreea provided us with a list of vendors for countertops and tile. There was never any pressure to use their vendors or their installers, but it was very nice to have these options. Andreea and Andrea are extremely knowledgeable and professional. As with any project there are going to be hick-ups. We had a cabinet and two doors that arrived damaged from the manufacturer during shipping. I called Andreea regarding this issue, within minutes of my call, she returned my call. Andreea assured me that the issue has been resolved and new products are shipping out to us. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen and are very grateful to Andreea and Andrei at Dream Kitchens! I would highly recommend this dynamic duo to assist you in your kitchen remodel ! JT and Lisa Sollazzo Weston CT
