I explained to the owner that I'd need some assistance moving furniture. , Two men showed up on the agreed date and quickly moved my heavy 4 piece bedroom set into my dining room. They then started covering closets and my kitchen area with plastic. Then the fun began. Day one they sanded all rooms and put a coat of sealer. They returned the next day for the first coat of polyurethane. The smell was quite strong but I expected this. That is why I made sure that my parrot and my two dogs would be able to stay elsewhere for a few days. Opening all windows was a big help. They came the third day for another coat. The floors turned out so beautiful!! The next day a gentleman showed up to collect the second half of the payment. When I told him I was very pleased but that I still needed someone to help me move the furniture back, he said no problem, someone would come the next day. And they did. They moved my furniture back free of charge. Even though this company is based out of Connecticut, they also service Massachusetts and Rhode Island which is where I am from. I'd like conclude that if you need your floors refinished, do not hesitate to call them. Their work is beautiful and their customer service was excellent. Their prices were quite lower than two others that I received. Now, is anyone looking for a nice house in Rhode Island? Let me know! :-)

I try to stain it every 5 years even though it still looked pretty good from the last time they stained it in 2018. But when those carpenter bees come back I know it's time. We were going with the exact same stain as last time. Emer and crew first did the power wash and then the next week did the staining. Just as last time they were fast and very impeccable. Emer is very responsive and his crew does an amazing job. They also replaced some weathered and cracked fascia boards. They made sure to come back after to look over the final results and remove any stain splatters. In the end my house looked fantastic and brand new again. Love Emer & Son Painting!
