The apps and main meal were such high quality and perfectly cooked. And the staff were soooo professional. They poured drinks and served food at coordinated times, it truly felt like we were at a 5 star restaurant. And working with team in advance of the wedding was so great. They were accommodating of every recipe/menu change we requested, and they helped us select all the table cloths, place settings, etc to bring our tablescape vision to life. I truly can't thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect, and I would recommend them to anyone planning an NYC wedding.

We booked our wedding catering with them about 2 years out and they so graciously let us do several tastings, let us play with the menu based on our foodie obsessions and even crafted something personal for the tables from me. Everyone has of course said the wedding was gorgeous and fun, but literally the first thing everyone has said was "the food, are you kidding? it was unbelievable and I ate everything - I couldn't stop". Food can always be a touch and go thing at big events and I'm so glad I trusted Red Table - they were perfect!

I've eaten that it was the best time I've had eating food in a long time. Reservations are insanely hard to come by their offered two weeks in advance for a period of two weeks and you better be online second they come open and even then you might not get a seat. But if you do get a Seat pay the extra money to sit the front row it is so worth it. This is a chopped/iron chef competition dinner where there are two chefs that are given mystery ingredients an hour and a half before the guests arrive. They are allowed one sous shop to assist them and they came up with a plan for appetizer, which is the first time event and a main course which is the second time event and a dessert which is the third time event. It's a flat fee reservation with tip included, except for the drink which you order off the menu and they have very reasonable prices and then you're expected to tip on that. Weeknight reservations are cheaper than weekend. The location is right next to the subway exit so if you're coming from Manhattan, it's an easy ride on the subway. There is a master of ceremonies host who tells you all the rules and conducts the voting and the penalties for overtime spent for ingredients lacking in the chef's dinner. The customers are the ones that award points. On my most recent minute visit a couple days ago I found that one chef had the most superb salmon appetizer that I have ever had. It was pretty much perfect and I would order it at any restaurant that I went to. However, he totally was a failure when it came to desserts and unfortunately, he lost the competition. It was kind of interesting as the males overly selected. The male chefs recipes has been superior and didn't really concentrate on his totally terrible dessert while the female females voted for the female chef. Most several couples were split on their vote. It was quite interesting. This would make a superb family outing or business activity, dinner or romantic date! I highly highly recommend Hudson Table!

I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend who came for an alumni networking event. The MC/Host helped set the tone and got us excited for the experience. The Chefs and Sous Chefs were awesome going head to head with their mystery basket ingredients. They got creative and delivered some amazing flavorful dishes. My favs were Chinese Bacon Soup, Arctic Salmon over Israeli Couscous, Chinese Bacon Fried Rice, and the Cheesecake with crust made from Animal Crackers! My friend and I also enjoyed an iced cold bottle of refreshing Prosecco. Notes: We got to be the judge scoring on Taste, Presentation, and Creativity. Overall, a super fun 3 hr dining experience. They took the competition seriously too with each appetizer, entree, and dessert timed (35-45 mins each segment). Highly recommend the experience but book in advance!

I've had my eye on this place for a while. They only start taking orders for 3:30 pm onwards. I ordered: - butternut squash soup (4.5/5) - mushroom soup (4/5) - flatbread (3.5/5) - butternut squash ravioli (4.5/5) - crab cakes (3/5) - turmeric hummus (3/5) - ajvar (4/5) - seasonal greens (3.5/5) - tiramisu (4.5/5) It's hard to find a good veggie soup for takeout, and both soups really hit the spot and the portions were surprisingly filling. I am quite the crab cake connoisseur and these ones fell short, but the butternut squash ravioli was excellent. Overall a great choice for a hearty, homemade-feel takeout option.

I had ribs (dry & small) on top of polenta (extremely coarse and grainy), with a (bite size) chocolate chip cookie for dessert (not advertised nor priced as bite size). The food was just lame, for lack of a better word and they even forgot something my friend ordered. I did see that they changed the menu the week after I ordered and according to their Insta (a post that's still up) there was some drama behind the scenes with the people who own it. But perhaps they spend more time on the catering side of the business as opposed to takeout/delivery.

I don't find many bakeries baking with fig so this was a sweet surprise and they delivered! Their menu switch up each season keeps me intrigued. Their matcha is decent and usually my go to. However, I am not a fan of the soups. They tend to taste bland. However, if you're in the area it's still worth visiting. There is very limited seating.

Not only is their sandwich shop adorable and full of delicious things. But they also catered my wedding. First and foremost, the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and served at good temperature. Dozens of our guests raved, and everything I got a chance to taste was exactly what we wanted. We did a wine/beer cocktail hour with passed and stationed hors d'oeurves, and a buffet dinner. Hors d'oeurves included two kinds of crostini (goat cheese/fig/pistachios/honey, and fava bean/prosciutto/pecorino), an artichoke dip, mini lobster rolls, and okra corn fritters with garlic buttermilk dip (which we barely got, as everyone ate them all). So delicious. For the buffet we did a salad, four veggies, and two entrees. Salad was a spinach salad with strawberries, feta, and pecans. Vegetables included cabbage and beet buttermilk slaw, sweet corn pudding, pimento cheese potato gratin, and skillet green beans with shallots. Mains were skirt steak with parsley sauce and pork tenderloin with Madeira and fig gravy. The skirt steak was by far the best, that and the corn pudding. So, so, so delicious. And beyond that, for the business end of the catering Molly and Josh are a great team and extremely easy to work with. We had been nervous about finding a caterer to handle food, rentals, setup, changeover from chapel seating to tables in the courtyard where we had the ceremony/reception, etc. etc. But Molly and Josh covered everything and put us at ease. Molly handles the business end, selecting the menu, negotiating prices, contracting rentals, and Josh works with the staff for day-of setup and service. We had a set price per head that we wanted to stay within, and Molly helped us find ways to adjust the menu, rentals, bar and staffing to help us stay as close to budget as we could. They don't upsell, and respected what we were looking for in terms of menu, budget, and look and feel. We had an outdoor wedding at Akwaaba Mansion in Bed-Stuy, and Molly and Josh came for site visits, drew out a map of how the tables and seating would work, and worked with my day-of coordinator (a friend) to revise the plan the day before the wedding, when we had to tent the courtyard at the last minute. The service staff on the day of were so sweet -- young, funky, relaxed and playful, and helped without being weirdly invisible, overly stiff, or invasive. I definitely recommend Sips & Bites, with no reservations.
