Jeremy came highly recommended by another installer and he did disappoint!!! He was punctual,…read moreprofessional and went WAY above what a normal installer would have done. He went to Lowes for a part (that I was should have asked for before the installation date) and then after he arrived at Lowes I told him "my bad, you know what we don't need it" he came back. I said he could add to the bill for the unneeded trip but he didn't so I gave him more money anyway. There is no way another installer would have handled my screw up any better!! A true professional!! If we need any of his services (TV mounting, IT services, computer repair and so many more) I will be calling Jeremy!! Maybe a camera birdhouse? You are the best Jeremy!

I contacted this handyman contracting service through the Yelp Project feature, and even though we…read moreultimately chose another provider for the work in our home, they handled their part of the process exactly the way you hope a professional service will. They arrived right on time for the estimate, just as communicated, and their messages before and after the visit were prompt, clear, and easy to work with. The estimate itself was straightforward with no pressure attached, which made the whole interaction feel calm and respectful, and that goes a long way when you are trying to make decisions about home projects that always seem to multiply. We did not select them for this particular job, but based on their reliability and communication alone, they will absolutely stay on our list for future work because those qualities matter just as much as the final result and they demonstrated both without any fuss. Darius of Catjacks upgraded four telephone jacks fed by Cat 5 cable to ethernet jacks for hardwired…read morenetwork connections. His work was neat and orderly and was performed in a professional manner. Although I did not need it, he stated that he has the ability to run new ethernet cables without damaging walls and the need for a handyman or painter to patch/paint holes. His pricing seemed reasonable; however, I did not seek other quotes to make a comparison.

Excellent Communication, Installation and straightforward pricing from Darius at CatJacks!…read more I reached out to Darius to have 2 CAT6 drops and 1 Wireless Access Point Wired/Hung. Pricing was exactly as shown on the web-site. Scheduling was very simple using Calendly. On the day of installation, prior to our appointment, Darius texted me to ensure I was still available. I then received another 'location' text when he was on his way. Darius walked through the house and we discussed where I wanted each drop - for example, in the bedroom I wanted the drop to be just above my drawers, so that I could mount a TV there and easily plug in to CAT-6 rather than going over WiFi. Darius is very detail oriented and even went to the trouble of (measuring) to mount my AP to line up with the 2 lights that are in my hallway and entryway! After the walk-through, he marked each of the drops with painter's tape, then once again confirmed with me the locations. Darius vacumed/cleaned up after himself as he worked and did a very professional job - leaving the house in the same state as when he arrived, willing to explain anything he was doing. On completion, I tested the drops/AP - everything was good and we settled up! I'm very pleased with the work Darius did; as well as being very Professional, he is also a very personable chap who really knows his stuff. (to put in context, I'm an IT Infrastructure/Software Project Manager). In summary, I would definitely recommend Darius to anyone that needs either AP's to be hung or Network Drops!

Long story short, Alec K was very professional, not pushy, friendly, did good work, and cleaned up…read moreafter himself. Long story long to follow: We had 4 ceiling boxes that we wanted swapped out for fan-rated boxes. I found Gianni Electric on Yelp, requested a quote on the app over the weekend, they replied quickly with a few extra questions and took down my contact info. They got Alec out the next day for a quote, and he came back the following day for the install. We probably could have gotten the work done a bit cheaper if we went with some self-taught handyman off of thumbtack, and I could have done the work myself (though it would have taken me a lot longer and probably would have made a mess in the process); but plumbing and electrical are two things that are worth paying a professional who has a license and insurance for. The price was reasonable and pretty much spot on what we had guessed it would cost us before reaching out. The whole process was pretty painless, and we'll definitely use them again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends.
