Such an amazing environment! The food is exquisite and the presentation is so glorious. The servers were all kind and passionate about the tea service. Will definitely be back.

We went during their soft opening and the staff was already so knowledgeable about all the teas they offer. Very interesting to learn about the jungle tea and all the other teas they source! Tasted great, amazing pastries, and lovely spot! Inspired by nudibranch sea slugs and they hinted at some decorations that'll add to the ambiance, can't wait to see!

We got there 15 minutes before they opened and there were 10 people ahead of us already. As soon as you get close to the place you can smell the euphoric smell of bread and pastries. We tried few things here, the vegetable quiche, chocolate croissant, plain croissant, almond chocolate croissant, olive bread and they were all fantastic. My favorite thing that I had and I could eat everyday for the rest of my life is the canelé. Absolutely magnificent!! Just so so so good. I've had them in France and this one was still better. The staff is very nice and welcoming and very efficient without sacrificing good service. I highly recommend.

I think it might've been a bit undercooked... I don't think I would try another one unfortunately. I think I would also stick with the sweet bakery items moving forward. I also ordered a lychee strawberry matcha milk tea (with the oat milk option) and I was pretty happy with that purchase. Overall, I wouldn't dock them more than a star for the underwhelming pastry because most of the others are excellent. It might just be that savory isn't their thing...

We decided to order 6 different pastries. We first tried their Seasonal Strawberry Almond Frangipane, Seasonal Strawberry Kouign Amann, Cardamon Pistachio Kouign Amann, Chocolate Pistachio Kouign Amann, Chocolate Babka, and Twice Baked Mocha Pecan Croissant. I liked all of their Kouign Amanns a lot, especially the strawberry one which added a nice fruit element! Their kouign amanns have very crispy layers and very flaky. I'd honestly recommend all 6 of the pastries we tried, especially since the prices for this place are lower (~$6) than some other high quality bakeries around the Oakland and SF area. The decor inside the bakery is really cute and there are quite a few small tables you can sit at to enjoy the baked goods. Service was nice and fast. Overall: solid pastry spot I'd recommend anyone to check out!

Visit date: 4/19/2026…read more We came about an hour before closing on a Sunday, so unfortunately many of the items I wanted to try based on other people's recommendations were already sold out. We ended up getting three things: * The cheese twist was soooo good! The cheese was flavorful and the pastry itself was perfectly done. * The apple pastry was interesting. Unlike many places where the pastry is either bland or overly sweet, Acme's pastry had a slight saltiness to it, which I actually think is genius. I almost always prefer a hint of savory flavor to balance out the sweetness from the filling or topping. My only issue with this one was that the apple topping was not sweet at all and leaned more tart, so paired with the salty pastry, it was not quite the flavor combination I was hoping for. * The mini raspberry pastry had the same issue for me. The raspberry topping was just a bit too tart and sour for my taste. Even though not everything was a hit for me, I would definitely come back and give this bakery another chance, especially since we arrived so late and missed out on many of their most popular items.

Parking isn't great here, especially on Saturday morning since there is a farmers market down the street. I was able to find parking in a lot in front of CorePower Yoga. I am never in this area so ordered more than I should since it's not the easiest to get to. Ordered the Okonomiyaki Danish (2), Green Onion Croissant, Yuzu Meringue Bun, Croisubi and a Matcha Latte with a cream top (forgot the name but some sort of coconut flavor). Out of all the pastries I ordered, the Okonomiyaki Danish was my favorite and will 100% reorder whenever I find myself in this area. The flavors, filling, uniqueness - everything about this was delicious. The other pastries were good but I was slightly disappointed with the Croisubi which is their version of a ham & cheese croissant but made with Spam. I be wrong but the Spam didn't taste like actual Spam but one of those Spam subsitutes. It wasn't bad by any means, but I was expecting the distinctive and salty taste of Spam. The pastries were all really good but I do not recommend the matcha latte for individuals who like their drinks slightly sweeter. They use a decent matcha powder but even after adding the extra cream top, my overall latte was 5% sweet. Not sure how when cream tops usually balance out the matcha taste with a bit of sweetness. But for some reason, the cream top here had barely any sweetness so keep that in mind if you order the matcha latte. I actually saw a guy who ordered a matcha latte before me come back inside the bakery to ask why it had no sweetness.
