Headliners fits the bill when it comes to fun and friendly atmospheres, but most importantly the barbers who work there treat you like your a regular even when it's your first time in that chair. Since my first cut their roughly 2 years ago I have never so much as thought to go any where else. I genuinely enjoy my monthly cut and look forward to going in the shop. In fact if it were up to me and if my hair grew fast enough you'd see me in "Headliners" every week. I highly suggest seeing Jose Martinez for a guaranteed great overall experience. With that being said each and every barber at this shop is solid and more then worth the price of admission!

My son is 2 years old and as you all know kids are not that easy going when it comes to haircuts. My son is over the top! I swear it's like having a mini heart attack when my son moves but Dany somehow knows how to handle the situation and make him comfortable. Long story short Dany did an amazing job of cutting my son hair even with the challenge of head throwings. He even managed a edge up. How he accomplished this I don't know. THANK YOU DANY!!!! If you want a decent cut (woman's) DO NOT trust the stylist here!…read more My experience was sad. Literally I almost cried watching this person attempting to cut my hair. Probably my fault for wanting a trim same day. You would think all the stylists would know how to "follow a cut" and layer medium length hair! No.... Carole had no clue what she was doing. The manager did her best to fix it and still had the audacity to charge me full price! Stupid me still gave Carole a small tip so she didn't feel bad They charge extra to blow dry your hair after a cut. WTF really? You can't even see how the cit comes out without styling it! My hair was f-ed up and I was traumatized by hair salons in NYC. Minolo saved my hair with an…read moreinnovative technique that he came up with out of necessity. I usually get annoyed with hair dressers who chop off all my hair because they're lazy and because they try to make me talk (usually to sell themselves...). Minolo had an authentic, real and empathetic personality that I have never encountered in this business. He kept the length of my hair so well and it looks even better. I have never been happier walking out of a salon. Some extra feedback: I live 5hrs away in Brooklyn, NY and stayed upstate for the weekend (as I usually do every few months). I found this place by chance on my way to Guitar Center. I have a few Paul Mitchell products and I like them over the several I've tried (esp. "Super Skinny" serum for my frizzy and wavy/curly hair) - so I decided to walk in. I would definitely come back for Minolo, he treated me like a human being and he is very skilled at what he does. This salon has a lot of integrity. I never walked into a salon like this in my whole entire life. I am really grateful to encounter such wonderful human beings.
