I would give 10 stars if I could. Everyone is so friendly and kind, everyone knows every client's name. Every single experience has been great. Sue generally does my cut and color and she just gets my hair! Ashley is my go to for waxing and she is extremely particular! Several others have also done hair trims, manicures, styling, waxing and I am always happy. I love being able to book online, so convenient and from the comfort of my couch. I usually book my appointments well in advance but often want something at the last minute and they work to get me in - thanks to the very professional receptionist Theresa. I called the day of and was able to get an appointment which was great! This salon offers several High quality product lines ( makeup and hair) as well as quite a few services including eyelash extensions, shellac nail polish, massage, waxing, hair glaze, etc. I had Rebecca who was really great! I have long wavy/curly hair and it was really heavy and she gave me a cut that kept the length and gave it a lot if volume. I also got the PM shine treatment and a feather extension. It was a really great experience! Price wise it was midrange but the quality of work and experience was there. read more

I'm not the type to leave negative reviews but I had a really bad experience with this salon yesterday. I'm a regular & I have been going here for years. I always get the same service done- eyebrow wax & upper lip wax & I leave a tip every single time. I also really liked this place because it used to be a candy store when I was growing up.. me, my brother, mom & cousin would come here and get penny candy.. it's nostalgic for me. Earlier in the week I had made an appointment for 4:30pm yesterday. I knew ahead of time that I was going to be a little bit late but no later than 4:36pm, I wrote this in the notes when booking my appointment online so they'd know. I would have chose a different time but they were completely booked this week and I really needed my brows done. I called them yesterday to let them know I'd be late about an hour before my appointment would start. They told me they couldn't take me! The reason is because they had a color appt. after me. I begged "is there any way you can take me!?" "I can just do my brows"... "NO!" I couldn't believe it... considering eyebrow wax is a quick service, I'd be totally ok if they didn't do anything extra like use tweezers or scissors, just wax. I wish they had actually read the notes ahead of time but I don't think they do! If only they had read the notes & called me earlier in the week to let me know, then I could have given my spot to someone else as well as make a new appointment elsewhere. Felt like I wasn't as important as the client getting the more expensive service, I do truly think if that client said they'd be a little late they wouldn't mind. I was so stressed & scrambled to find an appointment elsewhere last minute the day before my vacation.. It wasn't right & unprofessional because many times I have been here & I have had to wait for them to finish up with the client before me, sometimes for 10 minutes or longer. I will not be going back!! read more

This review requires zero stars simply due to the fact that the service I received at this salon was less than zero, but it wouldn't let me post it unless I put 1 star. (Keep in mind, on at least 3 occasions during the six months I was a client, there was an irate customer in the salon complaining about the owner.) Don't make the same mistake as I did, and if you like to keep your hair as I didn't, save yourself a lot of heartache and go elsewhere. read more

I moved to the area in 2019 and started using this salon in early 2020 when I got situated. I adore them! The group of girls are so nice and accommodating, they really make you feel comfortable. I recently had my wedding consult and trial and loved it! The stylists listen to you, they are open and honest and really work with you. I recommend them to anyone! This salon is exactly what I was looking for! I moved back to MA about 15 years ago and needed to find a salon. I went to many different places looking for a person that would listen to me and give me the right color, cut and style. Needless to say I went through many different ones over the years. Three years ago someone at work told me to go to Nuance Salon in New Bedford. She said the staff was friendly and knew what they were doing and have many other services at reasonable prices. The salon is very clean and homey. Sue is my colorist and stylist, and will give me advice if I'm thinking about a change. I just love her. The owner and other staff are always very friendly also. The ladies and Nuance Salon did hair and makeup for my wedding on cape cod. Absolutely flawless experience! The ladies were excited to work with us and were careful to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were flexible with timing and our wants. I had 10 girls getting ready the day of the wedding and they got everyone done quickly and everyone looked great! Overall excellent experience!
