In our case, with a severe weather warning/storm on the way, if I've booked their care but now can't travel because of the severe/dangerous roads/weather headed in, the $120 for one day is gone (the price for two 1-hour visits where one person lets out four dogs into a fenced yard/plays with them). According to a message conversation with the head of the company (and the site), there are no emergency situations where they'd give a refund, including severe weather, accident, loss of power to the home, illness, death of a close friend or family member, and more. I nicely urged a reconsideration of the current policy with the owner and the creation of a more nuanced emergency cancellation policy but received a short response. (Update: in a later phone call, the owner said they occasionally make exceptions on a case-by-case basis, but severe weather/warnings not to drive on the roads are not accepted reasons for cancellation.) As a business owner myself, I can't be on board with their current policy. If you have multiple pets, beware of the high prices; if you must cancel (for what I would think to be "valid reasons"), you may not receive flexibility. I'd love to see perhaps a partial refund, at least, for "legitimate reasons" and a human-centered approach. I hope they reconsider the strict policy because I do believe "life happens," and balanced policies that benefit both the client and the owner are helpful to all.

We started out having Tami help us with letting our dogs out and taking them for walks. However…read moreover the last year she has focused on reinforcing their training with commands such as sit / down, stay, and recall and the difference she has made in their behavior is beyond amazing. They are not only getting good exercise but also are the best behaved they have ever been. In addition to doing amazing work with the dogs (and they love her and look out the window for her in the morning), she is reliable, flexible, and goes above and beyond to help meet our needs and be there whenever we need her support. There is no one better to trust your dogs with - she is one of a kind and we don't know what we would do without her!

In addition to their small and medium plates menu, their recent "themed" meals have proven to be immensely popular thus far, and there's no surprise why this intimate, chic, yet approachable restaurant in Benton Harbor is always packed! The mixologists at the bar, are very knowledgeable and take their craft seriously! They are willing to alter and/or curate a cocktail to your liking if you don't find one on their menu. This place is a Southwestern Michigan fav, so make reservations in advance and go! Street parking is readily available.

We sat at the counter and enjoyed getting to witness the culinary team at work preparing the dishes! We had two starters; Duck Wings and Tuna Crudo. Both were outstanding and would get again...duck wings did get the slight edge for the fav. We also had two entrees; Halibut and Lamb ribs. Here again we were thrilled with our selection and Halibut got the slight nod for the winner The restaurant is small so make reservations to ensure you get in! Energy is great and staff was engaging and top level service. Highly recommend even for those looking for an alternative to driving to Chicago to get a great culinary experience! Houndstooth will not disappoint!

Now that they take reservations online and not just in person, it's so much easier to get a seat! Every time family or friends visit in town this is our first stop. The decor and ambiance is top tier and I wish there were more like it in GR! I highly recommend for a date night or nicer dinner out since it is a nicer place and the prices reflect that somewhat. My favorites are the whipped feta, wagyu sirloin, and the Daisy Du cocktail. For dessert, the bourbon apple crisp and chocolate mouse cake are incredible. But you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

I felt like had to try THE burger (BU butcher's beef blend, cheddar, caramelized onions, spicy pickles, creamy aioli, griddled brioche). This ate like a fancy Big Mac - and I mean that in the most complimentary way. So tasty! I, of course, had to add the hand cut fries. These were done VERY well. Also, they had a very SOLID spicy bloody mary. So why only 4 stars then? Welp, best burger in the state still goes to Ricewood (Friday & Saturday only!) - that smoked brisket burger is dang good. I'd come back to BU to try other items and enjoy their patio. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.

Thin slices of sweet and savory beef, packed with rice and swaddled tightly in a flour tortilla. Comes with a tasty side salad. The sundubu jjigae (which is silken tofu soup) is exactly what I used to get when I was a kid growing up in LA. The side dishes (banchan) were kind of mid, but kimchi, fish cakes, and broccoli are exactly that: kimchi, fish cakes, and broccoli. Potato pancake was heavy on the mozz, but yummy and filling. We also visited for Poutine Week GR and they participate every year with a lot of fun different variations of a Korean-style meat with tater tots. Good spot for Korean food, but also a good spot for just a coffee and to study. Floor to ceiling windows in the main area to sit and work along with some more backroom seating that's not as sunny, but a good location nonetheless.

We've been going to Turtle Lake for more than 10 years on and off (wish it could be more often)…read more We've stayed in the lodge and now have a small motorhome. Both types of quarters have their qualities- just depends on how you like to vacation. There are so many things to do here! Beautiful indoor pool. Really nice tiki bar next to the "conversation pool", a rec building with pool, darts, cards... There are volleyball nets, shuffleboard, mini golf, pickleball courts and more! We've never stayed in one of the"park model" units, but they look lovely. There are dances on Saturday nights and themed weekends during the summer. We love it out here. A couple things to keep in mind: This is a FAMILY resort. There are a few families with kids. Sort of took me by surprise when we first visited, but everyone is very relaxed and take all things in stride. This is NOT a swingers place. No one is looking to "hook up". No one cares about the size of your butt or whether you have weird surgery scars. This is a place where everyone enjoys what you can't do most other places: relax, feel comfortable in your own skin and meet new friends. As a woman, I can honestly tell you I was freaked out about going the first time. We're taught to obsess about cellulite and wrinkles. I've never felt as confidant and comfortable as I do at TLR. It becomes obvious right away that no one judges you... about anything! Once you shed your clothes, no one can tell if your rich or making this the one vacation you can take every couple of years. You don't have to compare yourself with a anyone else on any level. And guys... don't worry about being aroused or embarrassed. After a little adjustment period, when you get used to people being friendly and smiling a lot, you just don't feel like you have to be someone you aren't either. You get to know people for who they are. It sounds corny, but you feel natural here. You appreciate people for what's inside. I'm still a little bummed that they don't have the motorcycle rallies anymore (such a blast!) but everything else keeps getting better here. ;) You should visit! Really! (Bring SUNSCREEN!)
