Summerwinds is a great place to purchase trees, plants, and gardening supplies. We've been going…read morehere more in the last year or so after we had new landscaping done and needed replacement plants for plants that didn't survive the original planting. We've bought simpler plants like lavender plants as well as a Japanese maple. They have a frequent shopper account that you can accumulate rewards for too. The one thing that's nice is they have a plant guarantee where you can get reimbursed for a plant that doesn't make it, which is great if you don't have a really green thumb. We did use that once for a smaller/cheaper plant and it was no problem. Luckily, the pricier tree has done well. Service is always friendly and responsive. They can recommend suitable plants that fit certain sunlight or water requirements that you might have. Prices are higher than non-nurseries like hardware stores, but the plant quality seems overall higher and the survival guarantee of course is worth a fair amount if you're more of a beginner gardener like us.

Summerwinds is the absolute best place to buy a Christmas tree. They have beautiful Noble firs,…read moreFraser firs and Douglas firs at amazing prices. All the trees are kept in water so they stay fresh, and the staff will make a fresh cut, trim the lower branches, net the tree and tie it to your car. Much cheaper than a tree lot, and the place is decorated so it's still festive. We get our tree here every year, and before that at the Summerwinds in Campbell. I like to put my tree up Thanksgiving weekend and keep it up until after New Year's and our trees from here always last and last. This year we got a handsome 7-foot Douglas fir for $29.99. Christmas is in the air! I also come here for gardening supplies in the spring. Terrific service, friendly staff and good prices. Not quite as cheap as a garden center at a hardware store, but still very reasonable. The quality of the plants and the service is worth it.

Momstera Lounge is at the end of the little downtown, so it was fun to walk around and made the most of our long drive. Got there, and the people…read morewere very friendly and helpful for the basics, but I wouldn't go there to ask actual technical questions about wood or building. I did going expecting it would have a better selection of lumber at better prices than Home Depot. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They had a lot of wood suitable for construction but not for woodworking. They really had only one type of plywood with any kind of nice surface. Mostly have OSB, CDX, and only one type with a sanded finish. And that was almost $10 more per sheet than what I could get at Home Depot. No Birch or other quality plywood ether. I did purchase about 4 sheets just to check them and then went to Home Depot and got the remaining 11 sheets I needed. It was less expensive and there was significantly more choice for plywood other than OSB, CDS, etc.
