They showed up last week to fix something else and when we asked the worker said he didn't know they don't tell him anything. The shower looks great, which is why they don't have only 1 star, but all I can do is look at it. My bigger complaint is their lack of responsiveness or interest in coming up with another solution.

Flooding occurred which caused damage on the main level and finished basement resulting in $38,000 in repairs! They, at first, acknowledged responsibility. Then, when the amount of damage was estimated, started LYING. First they said the damage was pre-existing (it wasn't), then changed it to accusing me of allowing the bathtub to over flow (I didn't). Because of the lies, their insurance company refused to pay the claim! These people are liars and do not guarantee their work. Consumers BEWARE!!!!!!

As a woman and trying to handle the situation, because of Jim's heart attack, has not gone very well. I have been talked to like I was stupid, huge mistake by them and then laughed in my face by the Vice President of the company Steve. They are not sure, but believe that the windows are missing felt. I was told that it would take 2 weeks to get felt stripping in. I did tell him that I could get it quicker from Amazon, he laughed in my face and told me atinotes were not going to get me any where. Well, I can tell you this, they may not, but this story can. Like Jimmy said, he thinks he is not expendable and news flash you are. The big box stores eating at your door step and this how you treat people???? How many more Lowes and Menerards until you are gone?? Try and help the little guy out and this is how you get treated. I had called Equip the day before to get prices of renting a brush cutter. I even repeated back…read moreto confirm what I was told. Upon getting to the place the following day, they had changed up their rates from what I was quoted the day before. I was told that it was a "miscommunication"; which it wasn't, as I had double checked with them the day before. Due to this"mis information" my entire afternoon was messed up from my original plans. Upon getting the paperwork completed the back end folks loaded a new brush cutter on my trailer to then discover it had a flat tire. They then switched that machine out for their "old machine" they had in stock. This machine had tires that were ate up and it was clearly was an "old machine". Upon getting home with this machine, and off loading the thing. I discovered, the hard way that when you engage the forward lever that the machine accelerates from 0 to a runners speed upon engaging it. This action knocked me from my feet and severely skinned 1/3 of my right leg/knee. After getting my leg cleaned up, I found out that the reverse on the machine was so weak it wouldn't reverse the machine up any type of a grade. This machine was a very poor excuse for a brush cutter at best, as it would only cut extremely small brush; if that! With the forward clutch being so radical in acceleration speed, it caused me to lunge the machine into the brush thicket; which broke the spark plug wire. Their was nothing in the thicket that had any substantial size to it to cause the spark plug wire to break. Upon a closer exam of the broken wire, it had appeared to had been heat damaged and, therefore brittle, as the remaining broken piece crumpled in my fingers. I literally used the machine less than 30 minutes, before having to return the thing. I left with the machine at 1pm and had it back there by 3:30 pm. This counting the drive time of 30 minutes; to and from my house, eating lunch, unloading and loading the machine; at the house, spending a long time manhandling the machine and getting it back up the hill; after the machine was disabled. Upon returning the machine, Equip still charged me for a half a days rental, and is going to charge me to fix the spark plug wire; which was already in a brittle condition upon my rental of the machine. I am not very happy at all, with my experience of dealing with this company. The manager was no help at all and acted like he could care less if he done business or not with me. In past years, I have rented a lot of things from several different rental companies, and have never had such a bad experience in doing so. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
