I didn't use NU-VIEW Glass but I did call them in reference to a small job I had at home. The gentleman I spoke to realized it was a minor DIY problem I was working on and he was honest and told me that's not they do. Not the end of the story, he told me that Lowe's will cut glass to measure and they're relatively inexpensive, went to Lowe's got the glass and they cut it, went home and put in, end of problem. We are readying our house for sale and had several windows with sagging rubber seals between the dual panes that needed to be replaced. I called Nu-View on the basis of the yelp reviews and am so glad that I did! Chuck answered my call himself; it was right after a big monsoon storm so Chuck was very busy and explained that he couldn't get to me right away, but he could put me on the schedule for the following week. I almost have never been able to get a tradesperson out that fast, so I was amazed that he thought that was a "delay", lol. He and his brother arrived promptly as scheduled after calling to confirm, measured quickly and gave me an accurate and pleasantly affordable quote on the spot. They knew all about the failed seals in the brand of windows we had - apparently it was quite an issue and the manufacturer is now defunct. Chuck explained how they would make the new panels with aluminum spacers instead of rubber and said we could expect him back to install the new units in about a week. Well, it was less than a week and Chuck and his brother did an amazingly quick and professional install and the windows look terrific! While they were here for the install, I asked their opinion on several other windows that I thought might need work and they gave me a very honest evaluation and didn't just say that we should replace all of them. Oh, by the way...I was a real estate agent for over 20 years and I have never seen a window guy as honest, proficient and professional as Chuck. Chuck was great! I had been looking for someone to repair a mirrored coffee table that had a cracked panel. I contacted about 10 contractors who either said they don't do that work or didn't respond at all.
