But 2-3 times the owner has given me a very hard time about picking up dry cleaning late and I don't know if this is normal or the reason why?? one time I had a job interview and the owner interviewing me got sick with Covid so the interview had to be rescheduled. I was so busy during that time as it was also the week of my birthday and around Christmas so I was a bit late picking it up. A second time I was a few days late because I was sick. This time I was 2 weeks later than specified because I legitimately got very sick for an ongoing fever lasting 11 days with no known cause ... no clue why it lasted so long. The owner yelled at me saying he would charge me extra this time but all times were completely legitimately due to illness... I told him when I get sick I (for honest unknown reasons) get REALLY sick and it lasts a long time. I'm getting this checked out with doctors now as I'm perfectly healthy and young on paper/blood work but it really depresses me and how he yelled at me in front of people just for being legitimately very sick -- I don't appreciate it. It's absolutely not good customer service and I should not have to share private medical information with people. Is there a reason why they need you to pick it up by a certain time though? If so, why not request prepayment or tell the customer that they absolutely need to pick up by a certain date or you're charged extra. Maybe write it in bold letters on the receipt. I think I'll just take my business elsewhere at this point tbh. Never had anyone yell at me for being late before this place.

This dry cleaner is irresponsible and careless…read more I sent in my shirts and pants for dry cleaning. One of them was an Armani sports collection shirt (about 550 CAD) trusting them to take good care of it. However, when I came to pick up, during the examination, I noticed a big hole at the bottom of my shirt (I posted pictures). It looks like someone carelessly pierced through the shirt, even the threads were loosen and flying out. Instead of taking the responsibility and working out a solution, the owner immediately denied that they had nothing to do with the damage and it was like that when I gave him the shirt. I have only recently purchased it for 2 months and if there was a hole on my shirt I would have known it. I didn't want to do any more pointless arguing knowing it won't lead anywhere. I will send it to Armani and see if they can do anything. Just a reminder to anyone who is trying to do dry cleaning at this place, don't be surprised when you see a hole on your shirt when your collect it back! I will never dry clean at this place ever again and I urge customers to stay away from this place.

Took it back to the cleaners and advised them of the damage and as expected they denied any responsibility and said it could not have happen while they handled it or through the dry cleaning process. Tried to blame either the alteration process or the way I put my arm in the sleeve?? They just didn't care and kept making excuses. When I advised them I would no longer be a customer if we could not come to some resolution, they didn't say a word and seem to care less. Be careful if you use their service, if anything is damaged don't expect them to take responsibility.
