I honestly love this dry cleaner. It's even better that it's so close to home…read more I've been here several times and I can finally say that this is my go-to dry cleaner. Will not go anywhere else. The woman with the blonde pixie cut and glasses, is such a pleasure to deal with. Getting my clothes and coats dry cleaned is such a drag but whenever I come in, I always leave in a good mood. I'm not sure what her name is (the pixie cut woman with glasses, perhaps the owner?) but she is so sweet and HONEST. I recently came to get my winter coat dry cleaned. It was brand new and had only been through half a winter. She took a good look at it and told me I really didn't need to get it dry cleaned. She explained it looked fine and to wait. She saw one little mark and took care of it on the spot with a spot treatment. I really didn't feel it needed dry cleaning either but was just doing my due diligence, as I get my winter coats dry cleaned right before the cold weather begins. I appreciate that she was honest, as that saves me money for now! If you get a chance to speak with this woman, she is super friendly and easy to talk to. Great customer service! They are also the chosen dry cleaner for the Peel Police!

I brought a small leather backpack here with a broken zipper hoping to get the zipper repaired. I…read morewas informed that it may not be possible but they would try and asked me to leave a $30 deposit. I returned today and was very disappointed with the repair. The new zipper appears to be made of very cheap material and is difficult to open and close. All of the original metal detailing on the backpack, including a smaller intact zipper, is bronze in colour. She replaced the broken zipper with a silver zipper with a large silver ring as a pull tab. It does not match the rest of the bag and looks terrible. I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for the previous leather pull tab back so I could try and reattach it myself and she said she no longer had it. I was charged an additional $26, so nearly $60 total for her to ruin my bag. I asked for a partial refund and she refused saying, "if you wanted the zippers to match you should have said that when you dropped it off". It's evident that she was not equipped to do this repair. I wish she would have said she couldn't do it and returned my deposit to me so I couldn't have taken my bag elsewhere to get fixed. What really dumbfounded me was there was zero apology or attempt to rectify the situation. Needless to say I won't be ever going back here. What a joke.

Fresh-Up Cleaners is a good choice for dry cleaning in The Junction. Here are a few main points…read more.. 1. It is not cheap. In fact, I find it to be on par with most cleaners in the area, if not slightly higher. 2. The couple that runs the place are very friendly. They seem genuinely interested in helping you with your clothes and clothing issues. 3. They do the work here. Unlike some other cleaners who send their work out, I believe most (if not all) of Fresh-Up's cleaning and alterations are done in house. 4. Most items come back fairly quickly. It takes 2-3 days to get hemming and alterations back. 5. They do not take credit cards!!! They do take debit. 6. Everything I have had done here has been done well. At times it seems a bit expensive, but to have it done right is worth it.

I swear I went there for the proximity to my home but kept going back because of her. Moving away from the focus on her amazing personality and shifting it towards the actual work, I have to say that I've gone to much faster dry cleaners. The work, although very thorough, can be a bit slow paced so if you do need something in a timely manner maybe this isn't a place to add to your roster. They do send the cleaning out so if you prefer having it done on sight that's definitely something you should know as well. It's priced fairly and cash only. Never had an issue with being charged extra for spot cleaning or a particularly difficult stain. Overall the best bang for your buck and definitely the best exchange you'll have between a shop owner and yourself!

The items were returned today, but not as handed over. Some items were washed, some were not, and the best part was the unrequested dye job, NOT. Many of the items have fond memories attached, and now they are ruined, no warning phone call to say, "Hey we screwed up". Very irritating. If I could give minus stars I would. Won't recommend or use this service ever again. I get sh*t happens, but you have to own the sh*t when it happens, and you failed miserably.

But masking and social distancing are not being enforced here at all. Oh and people bring in their food and eat it here, which shouldn't be permitted either.
