This patio furniture was purchased originally about 15 years ago. It had the original straps on it prior to having it re-strapped this time. We priced out replacement of the pieces, which was cost prohibitive. So, because the frames were still in great shape, we decided to check out just re-strapping them instead. We are so happy that we went with Nu Vinyl to do this project! They were courteous, easy to work with, and, as you can see by the photos, they did an incredible job. Not only did they re-strap the furniture, they also cut off the old straps, cleaned the frames, replaced bumpers and replaced or tightened up the existing hardware. They picked up and delivered when completed. They went above and beyond our expectations. The process takes 3-4 weeks, but they offer loaner furniture for an additional $25.00 if you need it. Brought my Brown Jordan chaise lounges in for re-slinging and was amazed with the outstanding quality and service they provided. I was also missing a couple of bolts that they gladly replaced and tightened everything up. When I picked them up, they were cleaner than how I brought them in. They kept me updated along the way. These guys did an awesome job! I had a 20-year-old set of Hampton Bay lounge chairs that I had already replaced the webbing on once before (what a chore!). These chairs still have lots of life in them and they don't make them like that anymore. There were two listed - one never called me back and the other, Nu Look Revinyling, responded almost immediately. After talking with them, I decided to proceed with the purchase. The process took about 2 1/2 months and it was worth every second! Stunning! Exactly what I had envisioned and worth every penny. The quality is amazing. The set looks brand new. I had a choice - I could buy brand new patio furniture in the mid-century modern style that I like for mucho $$$$, buy the cheap crap that would be trashed in 2 years or less, or buy quality and style and refinish in my desired colors. Recently had some chairs re-slung by Nu Look and they came out great. Large selection of fabrics from a few different manufacturers. They lost a star due to some back and forth on the phone with them nailing down when they would actually be done. It took two weeks just for my fabric choice to arrive (they should let you know what fabrics are in stock all the time vs. which ones must be special ordered). Once the fabric arrived, the chairs were done within a week or so afterwards. Robert ended up being very accommodating and he personally delivered the chairs to me on his way home from work. Overall, I recommend them and would use Nu Look again...the chairs seriously look better than new. read more

Most of the straps on all 6 chairs of our 16 year old furniture were broken. :( New furniture is very expensive. So, we painted everything first and then called this company. They picked up our chairs, took them back to their shop and only 4 weeks later, I now have beautiful, repaired chairs! Plus, they were able to match the strap color to the color of our chairs! Although they were professional in my initial dealings with them and the appearance was nice, their product is inferior and will not hold up in Phoenix weather. The "Sunbrella" vinyl fabric installed on my slingback patio furniture became severely discolored after barely two years (which works out well for them because their warranty is only two years). The fabric is now very unsightly and makes the furniture look 10 years old. Regardless of the company's claims, their vinyl fabric held up only a fraction of the time as that of the original Sunbrella on the furniture. After questioning their rather short warranty period (particularly in AZ), the company would not respond. Unless you're ok with paying for new vinyl every two years, I would not use this company. read more

I'll start with the not-so-great, they suck at communication, whether email or telephone. I had chairs that I needed re-vinyl'd ASAP and wanted a week turn around. I called, I emailed via their website, called again. Nothing. Finally received a quote Friday morning but had questions regarding it. Called them and never received a call back. I finally decided to take the risk and drive the chairs to their location to get the questions answered. I really wanted these chairs fixed for the following weekend! Once I got to the shop, I understood why their communication habits are lacking. They are a super small family owned business and the owner is the only one answering phones and email communication. Everyone else is working in the back. The owner was extremely nice and apologetic once he realized why I just showed up out of the blue. Said he was in the process of hiring help so it was an easily forgivable offense. I'm so happy I decided to trust the reviews on Yelp. NuLook did a great job with all 6 of my chairs, with only a week turn around. They fixed all of the vinyl, created foot caps, and cleaned the chairs. Excellent price, including the rush fee. Normal turn around was 3 weeks. I was even given a credit for future powder coating on the same chairs. I will happily recommend them to anyone who asks, with the caution to have patience. read more
