This company started out great and completed about 90% of the work professionally and on time,…read morewhich is why this experience has been so disappointing. After being fully paid in November, the remaining 10% of the project has still not been completed months later. I have called, texted, and tried reaching out multiple times with very limited response or communication. At one point, Rick told me they had a bigger project that took priority and that my job had been pushed to the back of the line. Unfortunately, that still doesn't excuse the complete lack of follow-through or communication. What started as a good working relationship turned sour very quickly. I am beyond frustrated with Rick's lack of professionalism and communication regarding finishing this project. I finally informed him that I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I've run out of options trying to get this resolved. My advice: be very cautious about making final payment until every part of the project is fully completed.

He is currently working alone because he's having a difficult time finding help, so if you have items that you can drop off and pick up on your own that will help speed up the process. I also bought my own fabric from Fabric Depot up the road, but that's how I like to do it. He did pillow covers, a cocktail ottoman and two benches for us at an extremely reasonable rate compared to other upholsterers I spoke with.

He did a fantastic job, matching the pattern of the fabric I purchased from Fabric Depot (at his recommendation) to make each one a copy of the next! Each chair was re-padded and covered to perfection! He's a man of few words (mostly Spanish) but he gets his point across! The quality of his craftsmanship is notches above the rest, and he was willing to work when most others were not. Thank you, Sir! You're a man of integrity, the top of your field of expertise! They said it would take 2 weeks to do, and they called 12 days later when it was ready for pickup. Very pleasant people to work with. I would definitely recommend this place. One thing I would recommend to someone just replacing a small section(cushion, arm rest, etc), of leather on an old sectional or couch, is take your time picking out that new leather color. I rushed it just a bit, and wanted to match the original leather color, not the color of the worn areas. So, just take your time balancing out what color you want to match. Once again, these guys did a perfect job replacing the affected area with the leather of my choosing.

Mixed feelings about this place…read more I had a new cushion project I was working on. I received great guidance on making templates for the cushions from Isaac in the back cushion room. I did all of that, came back, met with the owner, scoured through fabrics, shared my exact templates for the cushions and then was just left waiting for a quote. I followed up and was told it was awaiting approval. They wasted my time entirely. Still never heard back. They could've just said they didn't want the job. Luckily, I received great service at Classic House. Better fabrics and fantastic service. Got a quote on the spot. And got right to work. Wish I would've started there in the first place.
