This place isn't huge but they have tons of quality rereleases that I haven't found at other stores. Highly recommend!

I have been a customer (reluctant one at best) at this location for years…read more Not sure why I continue to come here, probably due to it being convenient. The staff here is condescending, rude and indifferent on most of my visits. I've been told the books I want to sell them are junk/garbage - yet they were purchased there for a lot more than the offer. The latest - ordered two booms that were not in stock locally only because the estimated receive by date was over the weekend. Today (Monday) I received notification my order was ready - drove over an hour to find it was not all there (my fault as I should have read the LATE email closer). The person checking me out questioned if I had paid, said "sounds about right" when I asked about the books not being there over the weekend. When I get notified of the 2nd book arriving I will once again make an hour drive to get it, then I will either go to other noon stores or go to the flagship store in Dallas.

I've been here a few times now and the selection is decent, the prices are good. I usually bring my…read moredaughter here to check for books she likes before we buy them new at Barnes and Noble or Amazon. The service is good, because if they don't have the book they'll check other locations or you can order them online. There isn't any seating.tontest read a book however. However they do sell other stuff bills8, like Comics, CDs, Records, etc.

Visited this antique mall for the first time this past weekend and really enjoyed it. As soon as…read moreyou walk in you can smell the antique-ness, which adds to the charm. There were some great finds and solid deals throughout the booths. I was surprised that all the booths were unmanned, but it actually made browsing more relaxing since you could take your time looking at items and prices. Really fun spot to explore. I've heard their parking lot sales are great too, so I'll try to make it to the one in April!

My baseline for amazing antique malls is a great store in Mckinney on the square where everything…read moreis well displayed, obviously juried and friendly. With that in mind, the Plano Antique Mall was just meh. The flow of the store is interesting, no one greeted me when I entered-they just looked cranky. Three staff members passed me while I was shopping and not one smiled or greeted even though I smiled at them. Zero customer service. Many of the booths were great and well displayed. BUT so many were so overpacked it looked like one of those East Texas yard sales where the stuff is left in the yard 24/7. The booths have so much potential. This company should assist vendors in displaying items. 5,000 items will not fit in a space meant for 500 (slight exaggeration to make a point). It is ok to display some items and then switch out seasonally! Some booths were so chaotic and full that you couldn't even walk into them to shop. I didn't buy anything on this trip. Pros-lots to shop and look at. You never know if there is a treasure that you need. Cons-uninterested staff. So many messy, garage sale looking booths which made me lose interest pretty fast.

I've recently gotten back into my action figure/adult collectible hobby and stopped in Madness…read moreGames and Comics on a friend's recommendation. Although it does not carry what I'm specifically interested in, if you like to play board games in a relaxed social atmosphere and pick up more modern-day collectibles, this might be the place for you. Madness has a wide variety of collector card sets, board games, and also modern action figure lines, with Star Wars and G.I. Joe as large focal points. Madness does carry some vintage Star Wars figures from the '70s/'80s but it really shines with the franchise toy lines that have come after that heyday, with deep inventory in the sequel trilogy figures, Power of the Force, post-prequel movie and streaming show figures, and the Retro Collection. This is also the place if you love the Pop! Funko figures (which I do not in the least) as Madness has definitely gone all in on the craze. I found the staff to be helpful with my questions during my visit and they gave me space to think about some items I was mulling over. Although I probably won't be a frequent visitor, I appreciate the unique offerings Madness brings, especially in creating community.

Wow -- I absolutely loved visiting this bookstore! I'm from out of town and honestly, I wish we had…read morea Half Price Books where I live. As a huge book collector, this place felt like a treasure trove. There was truly something for everyone, and the prices were fantastic. One of my favorite finds was a beautiful collection of Mark Twain stories -- such a gem. I also picked up a few books for my daughter, and we had the best time browsing together. The kids section was so sweet and welcoming. She was getting into everything (as toddlers do!), but everyone was so kind and understanding. The rest of the store has a bit more of a library feel -- lots of readers quietly flipping through pages, sitting on benches and tucked-away desks -- which I think is wonderful. I was mindful of the more relaxed, peaceful atmosphere outside the kids area, but it was really heartwarming to be in a space where people clearly love books and value time spent with them. You can tell this place is run by people who genuinely care about reading and community. I just want to see this business thrive. We'll definitely try to stop by again before heading home. I absolutely loved it here.

Fellow K-Pop collectors please read! I brought in the albums…read morepictured - six had everything and the rest had everything except the photocard - and was offered $6. I asked about the albums they sell, which often don't have photocards, and they said those were "mistake offers" or donations. I wasn't going to post a review, but after getting home and opening one of the albums I noticed they damaged the photocard. It was wedged as far into the crease of the page as possible, causing the top left corner to be bent, so I actually lost money since a damaged card lowers the value of it and the album! So, PSA to anyone looking to sell K-Pop albums: they must have photocards or they won't take them! Also, please check how they place photocards and other inclusions in your albums before you leave in case they damage something! Finally, please dm me on Instagram @gp1117.trades if you'd like to buy any albums. Photocards are included in Frequency (damaged), No Labels, Play Hard, Face The Sun (Mingyu and Vernon) and Oddinary. They're around $2-$10 plus shipping, and I also have photocards for sale and trade :)
