I came here for an alignment; however, my steering wheel was tilted ever so slightly to the left. After they aligned my wheels, my steering wheel is now all the way to the right. I must say, my vehicle is relatively new, and it can be a learning curve for sure. I do enjoy the people who have helped me throughout this journey. But, I don't like the false promises they give me, stating my vehicle is ready to be picked up, only to find more issues related to my steering wheel alignment. Please, for the sake of your time and mine, have better communication with your staff members. I cannot consider the staff members working on the vehicle "professional" due to their messing up my steering wheel alignment. Till to this day, my steering wheel is still unaligned. My son has sat there for OVER 2 hours just to have two tires put on rims. NOT to take off a car! Our son brought in two rims and two tires just to be mounted. A simple job that MAYBE would take less then 30 mins has turned into over 2 hours. Then they lose the ticket. I stopped going to them years ago for doing a botched job on an alignment that they did on my car. Three times it went back to them and they still never got it right, till I brought my car somewhere else and they said, NTB didn't do it right at all. And they call themselves mechanics, smh. I pulled in after putting air in my tires, which my sensor still informed me that I needed more , as I saw the shop it looked closed ,but I still gave it a try . Once I walked In I was immediately helped the gentleman asked how can he help , i explained that I put air in not sure if it actually worked ,but the sensor is still on. he and another gentleman went straight to checking. They saw the problem and fixed it just like that . I just need more air for all tires. They completely helped me , someone who didn't know what she was doing and they didn't even charge me , the simple facts that I sent 8 dollars at a gas station air pump just for it not to work says a lot. the hospitality and kindness I've been shown is truly amazing. I had a nail in my back tire and had my parents take my car there to see about a replacement tire as I have just bought 4 new tires here on April 8th. My dad is an army veteran and my mother is older and they were treated horribly by the men at the front desk. One in particular. One guy kept saying they needed to pay $100 deposit for a new tire. Really?!! Because I spent $700+ there on April 8th for 4 new tires and didn't have to pay a deposit when I made the appointment. Not only that, I told my family we would take it elsewhere since they were of no help and wanted my parents to pay $400 (minus the $100 deposit) for ONE TIRE!! We took it to 2 different shops and BOTH SHOPS are saying my 2 front tires need to be replaced. I LITERALLY JUST BOUGHT THESE TIRES! And I don't drive much. I had an appointment for 8AM to install 4 tires. The manager checked me in and and was super nice. They were not busy and I was the only one in the waiting room. After that it fell apart. I checked on it two hours later and it wasn't finished. Finally at 10:56 they came out and said it was done. It had taken almost 3 hours to install 4 tires. They came out at 10 and told me I needed a new ball joint. The car is a 5 year old Toyota with less than 48,000 miles on it so that sounds crazy. I looked at the invoice later and the car wasn't checked in until 9:14, over an hour after I got there. I bought the tires online at the Michelin website and selected this dealer for installation because of their good reviews and convenient location. When I checked out no one explained or apologized for the long wait time. I won't be going back. read more

I went there because I ran over a bolt and my tire was going flat. It was the closest place I could get to. As a woman I felt like they had an attitude whenever I asked a question. I even noticed them mocking me when I quickly turned around as I was walking out. They didn't assist with locating another rim as it was punctured from the bolt. My appointment was at 12:00 and I was 10 minutes early for tire rotation and oil change. The manager looked my appointment up and then said "Gary (not my name) are you here for tires?" I said no, oil change and tire rotation which my coupon covered. He said "are you sure you want the tire rotation?" Like it wasn't included. The work that was done on my car did not fix the problem. They made false charges and never corrected the problem. I want a refund or a lawsuit On February 26, 2019 (Order Number 400030168456-ZMCO) I checked my car into NTB in Gastonia NC telling them the issues I was having. Which was the fact that I couldn't get a correct alignment from another repair shop because something was bent on the rear. They did a diagnostic and realized it was my rear lateral arms that needed to be fixed. Okay so they put new lateral arms, brakes and rotors..charged me for a alignment that was never done. (Mind you the guy that worked on my car was fired). After the alignment never happened I blew through 3 sets of tires all which I have pictures for. Nearly crashing into other cars and 18-wheelers on the highway only to find the alignment wasnt done right. SO I took the car back to NTB in Gastonia which a guy named Rigel supposedly worked on my car after hearing the alignment was never done. This time they said I wasn't having issues with Cam Bolts (which happened in September) still didnt get an alignment because he said I needed new tires. While on the way to getting new tires, one tire blew out and my car was stuck in Rock Hill for a while. Once I was able to get my car back to Gastonia I took it back to NTB in Gastonia which was in October, they held my car for three days saying they needed to weld some things back together. When I picked up my car the battery was dead and they put a small tire on my car and said they couldnt give me an alignment. When I drive straight my car steers to the right in order to drive straight I have to hold my steering wheel at an angle. Everything that they did on the car STILL DID NOT HELP THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM (WHICH WAS AN ALIGNMENT) THAT THEY NEVER ACCOMPLISHED. So I took my car back on November 13, 2019 to which the guy states that Rigel no longer works there. (that makes the second person who worked on my car to no longer work there). The person we spoke to at the front desk said there is nothing else they could do for my car. Also decided to give me a receipt with no record of the work that was done in September or October. The receipt shows the date (2/26/2019) which was the first day I ever went to them for work. So after all of that I took my car to Mr.Tire who further lets me know that there were a bunch of bolts and screws loose. And stated if I had not of gotten this looked at it could have gotten worse. My alignment was so far off I would have crashed my car if I would have kept driving. I have all the documents and paperwork to show proof. I would like a refund and if I do not get my refund I will be pursuing a lawsuit. read more

I've been to this location several times and can't believe that I haven't reviewed it yet! Sometimes chain tire/service have the best deals on tires so I've opted to get tires here. As a company, I would definitely say they're doing things very well. They have a great loyalty program that sends snail mail coupons, birthday cards and holiday cards. I've also gotten 19.95 Catalina coupons. (Yall know what those are right, the ones they print out at the cash registers in grocery stores.) Now, this particular location has some of the best and consistent customer service I've experienced. Regardless of who is working, you're always acknowledged and checked in as soon as possible. The check and advise option is great when you're not sure what the issue is. (Right now, my tire is going "Bonk, bonk, bonk). I will say....CALL AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Unless you have absolutely nothing to do or you have someone to pick you up, you do not want to just pop-in. Wanted oil change and was told that since my car had an oil leak which had already been repaired they would not be able to do an oil change. Don't know the relationship between an old oil leak and an oil change today but there must be one! More effort was put into telling me what they could not do than would have been required to actually do the work. No customers for repair work at $102.99 per hour and only 2 customers with oil change coupons for bargain priced oil changes. Run, don't walk!!! read more

Made an appointment for Friday @ 8:30 Am but due to their scheduling system I had to reschedule for Sunday. A small inconvenience but really no big deal. I was checked in right away. I was able to see the mechanic while he worked. I had to be at work in one hour, they got me in and out in 30 minutes. They checked my fluids and gave my car a quick once over to check for other issues and lastly, the price was a dollar less than I thought. I'll definitely be back for future oil changes! read more

Almost 2 weeks ago I called the Gastonia NTB and asked them to order Ohtsu ST5000 tires for my truck. The Service Manager? said it would only take a day or two to get them, and made an appointment for Saturday, Aug. 11@ 10. I showed up and checked in, again told the Service Manager? Brendan I was there for the Ohtsu ST5000. He said no problem After 1 1/2 hours they said my truck was ready,and took my money. I was running late, so didn't look at the tires until I got to my next stop and they had put Linglong tires on my truck, a poorly rated Chinese tire. I called and asked why they had done that and Brendan said they were basically the same tire made by the same company. I knew that was false, and told him I wanted the tires I ordered put on the truck. He said no problem. The store manager called and tried to get me to keep the tires, so he wouldn't "have to eat them". I refused, and told him I wanted the tires I had requested and paid for. He said no problem. After nearly 2 weeks, they got the tires in, but they didn't call me, I had to call them for the 5th time to find out. It took 2 weeks, 5 phone calls, 1 Messenger message to Corporate, and way more poor service and dishonesty than one company should be capable of, but today I got my tires. I went into tire kingdom at about 10 30 am to get my car inspected and for an oil change after an hour and a half they had just finished the oil change and I was told it would take about 20 mins to get it inspected. An hour later they were finally done, just over 3 hours after I had arrived they were finally done and there was only 2 other people in the store. I understand being busy but when u have 3 costumers in the store it's absolutely rediculous that it took 3 hours for them to change the oil and inspect the car when they were not even busy. I was in a fender bender, so I took my car in to have the front end work done. They replaced my broken tie rod, and told me that I needed a tire replaced, because it had a heat ring. I said that I had bought the tires from Discount Tire, with an additional warranty, so, I would get a replacement tire there. Subsequently, the woman from NTB told me, by phone, that my steering rack was leaking fluid, and replacement would cost about $450. The tire tech at Discount Tire literally laughed out loud when I told him what NTB had told me. A heat ring, he explained, is the wear ring around the sidewall caused by driving on a deflated tire. My tire had not deflated as a result of the accident, so, obviously, there was no heat ring. I have driven the car eight months since then, with no rack or steering problems, besides adding power steering fluid a few weeks ago. I've noticed no leaked fluid anywhere that I have parked. It appears to me that the people at NTB lied in order to try to sell me a tire and a steering rack. Unless you enjoy being ripped off by liars and thieves, stay away from this clip joint! read more

When I ask about it the man told me it was for Family & Friends. Well I have family and friends. He didn't offer any other information about it so here I am at home and called back to them why that was and they still will not explain it any more than family and friends.
