Great gym friendly people and clean equipment every time without a skip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WARNING: Illegal Contract Traps & Refusal to Cancel Avoid NSFit Redding. They use predatory contracts with tiny, non-compliant font sizes, a direct violation of CA Civil Code § 1812.82. Even though I signed up online, they intentionally obstruct the cancellation process and ignore digital requests to force 'in-person' meetings, violating the CA Automatic Renewal Law (B&P Code § 17602). I've had to file a formal complaint with the California Attorney General just to protect my consumer rights. Do not give this gym your banking information. read more

Love Coming to this gym! We have gone to multiple gyms in the area and out of all of them, we feel the most comfortable here. The staff is very friendly, and even the other Gym goers are. We have a toddler that is in the daycare, and she gets excited to come Every day. Highly recommend. read more

I've been going here for two years this time. The music is always out of date or out of time. I really like the open floor plan but equipment maintenance can be non existent at times. One thing that is amazing is the check in staff. Carmen is my favorite, she always has a smile on and is one of the real ones that you can talk to without a filter. She is encouraging, supportive, and nurturing. If this review was based solely on her it would be a 5 star. ​I hold out hope that maintenance and music will be addressed. Most people expect music in a gym to be made in the last 20 years, have at least a 120 beat per minute tempo, and not be country. read more

I have going to this gym since it opened as FitRepublic. I recently canceled my membership, their staff assured me that there would no longer be any charged to my account as I put in the proper notice. However, that was incorrect. They continued to charge my account, and their solution to charging me cos t again, was I could work out for an extra month (that I had just paid due to their staff misinformation) or call the corporate office that doesn't respond. If you go to this gym, know that when you need to cancel your membership it will it be easy. It's truly a disappointing experience to leave NS Fit on these terms. read more

The employees are nice and the space is great. I just wish they could turn the TV's on, maybe having sports and news on for the customers.

Good gym. some of the machines need updated and fixed. Nice, friendly staff. Hours are good. Showers are almost always cold, no hot water.

NSFit is exactly what I was looking for in a gym. I love how spacious the facility is! The equipment looks brand new, and it has everything that you need- Tons of cardio equipment, weight machines, kettlebells, dumbbells, cable machines etc. The facility and bathrooms/locker rooms are always immaculate, it's so clean and well taken care of. I am so pleased that I chose NSFit for my gym membership, and I always feel welcomed by their great staff when I'm there. read more

Not only a beautiful gym, but caring and compassionate management too. I was going to purchase a day pass to work out with my dad who I was visiting after the loss of his wife. The manager knew and let me workout free of charge. Thank you for that. I was very impressed by the amount of options in this location. This gym has a better selection than most that I've been in. Great friendly staff and clean facility. There is plenty of equipment. I love the variety and types of equipment available.

I previously had an issue with this gym on a card expiring on payment to them. I was out of the country and did not receive an email from them informing me of the situation. This isn't JP Morgan. It's a gym. For a gym they did a great job correcting an issue! Staff and Manger did well! They are on top of it and completely competent. IF ONLY THE OWNER WOULD ORDER A BIKE RACK! If I could warn people NOT to join this gym I would say DON'T. I joined the gym some months ago to attend their new spin class which was being run by some really good spin instructors. There was an incident where an older member of the gym was irate over tiring on the overhead fans & came into the spin room & threatened people. He has some anger management issues. The club did NOTHING!I no longer feel safe & the spin instructors quit as well over lack of resolution w/ the irate member. I only came to do spin. I spoke to customer service but nothing has been done & they continue to charge me. The club is really not a gym I would ever go to. Staff looks bored & unhappy. PLEASE DONT GO HERE. It's a rip off! Relationships are built at the door of any business and NSFit does a great job of focusing on who their members are. Each time I come in the gym, I'm greeted with a smile and often by name. That's nice. I workout 4-5 days per week with a mix of cardio and weights. NSFit has a huge selection of machines (cable and belt). They also have a huge number of dumbbells, benches, squat racks, and 2 powerlifting platforms. They have the cardio rooms for spin classes and more. The total square footage is --well--enormous! I'm walking around the gym writing this review and I don't have to worry about bumping shoulders or having someone hover over my machine and waiting to use it. If I was 25 again and had my best throw of a football I might make it 3/4 the way across the longest length of the gym. I've worked out at the YMCA, at the gym across the street, Planet Fitness and a few other gyms that have come and gone in Redding and NSFit has been my longest gym membership yet. Plus, they are open on Sunday...not every gym is. So, if you want a gym with good people, plenty of space, good in house music choices, lighting that doesn't blind you, stuff to clean the machines with, hydro massage beds, and TV's to occupy your brain between sets (if you're not on your phone), then why go elsewhere? I have been a member of the club since it was Fit Republic. I can honestly say it has come a long way since those days. The club is now clean and well maintained. The staff especially Eric take the time to get to know you and your fitness needs. The membership fees while they have gone up are still way cheaper than other clubs in the area. I would highly recommend giving this club a visit. Also, i especially like how open the building is. read more

This gym has become one of my favorite places to be. It has the best weight room and machine selection of any gym in town and I've belonged to quite a few. I am always greeted with a smile and by name at the front desk and everyone is so kind that works in the gym. They have a dedicated trainer in the gym that helps out all the new members and has no problem offering tips when needed. The atmosphere is so chill, no judgement, so it's great for beginners or even a dedicated lifter. Everyone here is helpful and courteous, even when it gets busy. I LOVE how open this gym is and when you don't feel comfortable lifting on the main weight floor there is a back room that I find myself in a lot. Everything is clean, well maintained and I can't wait for this gym to gets it's remodel finished. My kids love Katie that works the morning daycare so much, they look forward to seeing her every morning. I know I don't have to worry about them because they are well taken care of! Eric the gym manager takes pride in his gym and his staff and I have no problems talking to him or making suggestions to help improve my experience at NS Fit. The new manager is amazing Carmela rocks!!! All her new staff is super friendly. She's doing great. I would have giving you guys 5 stars on staff but a few things need fixing. BEWARE!!! If I could rate this company zero stars I would! They have the most incompetent employees. When signing up I was told multiple things about the contract and when questions arose about it later they said I don't know why you were told that but it's not true. Basically any and everything that didn't go their way ended up my fault because their employees had misinformed me and I was not provided with any assistance. All they kept saying was that all they could do was try to fix their mistakes for future members. Well isn't that just nice that you're going to fix it for the future members but what happens to the people that have already been victimized by your company. The customer service is a joke! When I am told one thing, I believe that they should honor what I was told instead of telling me oh that employee should not have said what they said but we will do nothing for you to help to fix the problem. They are all about money and the gym is mediocre at best. They rarely had towels and they say they provided daycare only to get a message very frequently that their daycare will be closed that day, so very unreliable if you have children. If you decide to go to nsfit I strongly recommend that you read the contract you are signing BEFORE signing it. When signing up they will tell you oh this is for so and so just sign here but you see no contract and then they will change the rules on you later and hold you accountable for mistakes they've made. Another note is they will give you the corporate office number to call and they never answer their phone and will not call back unless you threaten to take away your payment method and then they call back to let you know that they cannot help you either. This company has ruined my gym experience I don't know that I'll ever join a gym again in fear that this could happen again, it has been a year long battle with these incompetent people. read more
