My first experience at Woodhouse Spa in Buffalo hit it out of the park! For Christmas, I treated my…read moremom and myself to 50-minute massages and it was such a perfect way to relax and spend time together especially because I had been wanting to try this spa forever, but it was always fully booked. I jumped on it early in December and snagged us appointments for January 3rd. Turns out, it was worth the wait! My massage therapist, Janine, was wonderful and my mom only spoke positively about her massage therapist, Hannah. I always know a massage is good when I fall asleep... and sure enough, I drifted off for a little spa nap. Mission accomplished! I also loved the quiet room and the showers afterward, which really extended the whole relaxation experience. While I've been to spas across the country with much more extravagant amenities, Woodhouse is a fantastic option for Buffalo. I felt it was very clean, calm, and exactly what you want from a quality day spa. My mom and I both left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and very happy we finally made it happen! I'm sure we'll be back next time I am in town!

The atmosphere of the spa itself made the whole visit feel special, from the calming environment to the attentive staff. It is a bit on the expensive side, but honestly worth it for the quality of the service and the overall experience.

I recently went to Tres Aurae spa. It was an amazing experience. I made an appointment for a foot…read morereflexology massage. The massage was fantastic, it started with compliments of water or coffee. Then warm stones on your feet and relaxation with a warm towel on your neck. The foot massage was fabulous. I highly recommend. Also the establishment offers so many services I'm sure you'll not be disappointed.

Would not recommend this place to anyone had a massage and a facial both were below average…read more Very high on my list is hygiene and neither lady started by washing their hands for me this is a definite bad start. Facial felt like she had no idea of order or steps. I have had many facials this place was new to me yes but,it was not just oh a different place. NO she missed the areas past my cheekbones both sides to include the entire time. I would also highly recommend being aware when you are over someone that sometimes after eating or drinking that mints are so needed or water. This was an experience that I was just counting down when the treatment would be over the whole time. I did not relax at all. This was the sealing of no return when I left and got into my car I looked in the mirror both sides of my nose in the crease and above had white product left on. This is such unprofessional salon service. People pay hard earned money for a relaxing experience Could not of been more disappointed ! As for the the massage. I had the new member of the salon just my luck and while it was probably gonna be a learning curve for technique. I was on the receiving end of this. As I said could not get past thinking when is this over and yes I had the massage first so being disappointed I was so hopeful for the facial and ended with those same thoughts for both. There is no way I would want to say at the time to embarrass or be hurtful that it was awful ,but It was definitely that.

Since we booked the last time slot for a couples massage of the evening, we were not able to use the sauna or steam room afterward and our services felt extremely rushed by every single person we interacted with there. I noticed that the snacks and some additional amenities were put away about 90 minutes before they even closed. We only booked the last massage of the evening because that was just what was available and I don't recommend going at this time. They offer an option to visit the sauna/steam room the following morning for the first few hours of the day if you're the last appointment the night before, but they only tell you this when you get there. This was not helpful for me because I had something to do early the next day. I also took the time to fill out a form for my massage therapist and she never looked at it, she just told me to hand it to the cashier when I left. The masseuse did not ask me if I enjoyed the pressure of the massage nor asked for any feedback. It was more like a fancy rub down for around 45 minutes in a warm bed. The cost was too high for a rushed 45 minutes and marketed as a 60 minute luxurious experience. The woman who massaged my husband spoke to him more than my therapist did, and so he was happier with his massage. Both therapists seemed mentally checked out for the day as they started our massage late and were just going through the motions with their job/lacked going any extra mile whatsoever. We were getting married the next day lol. I guess that's what you get for including automatic gratuity on the couples massage. The room atmosphere was very nice for the couples massage, they included towels and sandals, but as a whole this was very disappointing and overpriced. Will not be going back!

The accommodations are kept clean, and the king size bed was firm and comfortable. Every morning they serve a good hearty "breakfast-in-bed" delivered to your room at whatever time you choose the night before. Between 7am to 10am. The hotel is very close to the overcrowded Clifton Hill area which is home to an amusement park atmosphere. The hotel is also within good walking distance to the Falls, about a 20 -30 minutes walk along the promenade on the Niagara River. However, it's quiet at the hotel at all hours thankfully. Sterling Inn appears to be one of the better hotel options in the immediate touristy area. *There is a AG Restaurant on premises , as well as Spa for your pleasure.* Thank you for reading. I rarely heard any of my neighbors or outside noise. The bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower was good, and the AC worked properly. Breakfast in bed is delivered each morning if you request it. It was a lot of food for me so I opted out the rest of my trip.
