I didn't know NRG Park existed until Yelp asked me to write a review. This ground houses NRG Stadium, NRG Center, NRG Arena and the Astrodome. It's huge. It's Texas huge. The parking lot wraps amongst all facilities. There are several entrances with direct access to almost all facilities. The biggest event with all facilities at NRG Park (except Astrodome) is the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show between February and March. It sure will get crowded. Parking is at a premium. read more

would do 0 stars if I could. The parking staff is one of the worst groups of people I have ever encountered. They have no communication between their entrances, and they change the rules multiple times in 2 days. I'm told my vehicle should be free, it works the first day, then the next day I'm told I need to pay. I argue for 10 minutes to grudgingly be allowed entry. On day 3 upon exit, I try and get some kind of pass to re enter, and now they're saying there is no re entry. I'm here for work, i dont have any choice about coming and going, and they're trying to make me pay 25 dollars to grace their asphalt with my tires for 7 minutes. Will NEVER attend anything in NRG park because of this abysmal service, sorry Texans. read more

I attended the RV Show February 11th. Nice space and fun yearly event I enjoy. Ticket sales people are nice and the ticket takers are nice as well. The facility is clean with nice bathrooms. read more

Here, it's always Truck Month. This is the big ol' park that surrounds the NRG Stadium, the Astrodome, and all those buildings and space that surrounds them both. There's a bunch of pavillions, a biergarten, a food hall, some public works of art, and restrooms! This place has it all. It seems custom built for the Houston Stock Show & Rodeo, with lots of places for food and vendors, and even a Midway with games and rides. The place is easy to navigate, just look for the giant building in the center to get orientated. Parking was a bit challenging, since for the rodeo, they had all these lots full of cattle and horses, and their trailers, and pickup trucks. This place is not only the home to the Rodeo, but also the Texans. I've read that you can still show up to a gridiron matchup and tailgate with some cold ones before you head in and pay $15 for a beer. I really enjoyed my visit to NRG Park- there was so much to see and do around here! read more

Large facility...plenty of space for parking. This arena is used for everything from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to professional conferences! It is extremely large with halls/concourses, so please be ware that it is extremely easy to get lost!!! Please follow all signs and watch for signs for where you park otherwissssse you will be getting some unintended exercise! During the rodeo, they have shuttles and mostly off-site parking for attendees. You can also take the train because it lets you off right at NRG! All in all, this is a great facility with major flexibility. You can tranform it into anything! read more

I have been coming to this arena since it was the Astro arena. If memory serves me right we used to watch wrassling matches here when we were kids. I've been coming to this area for the past 11 years for OTC. The reason they get three stars is because their restrooms are filthy. I get it OTC has a ton of people and it may be hard to keep them up but they really need to do a better job. I will give them this. The AC blows cold which is nice. The employees are really nice! Fun fact time! Thelma works here if you truly love food like I do you will know all about themlas bbq on live oak! She is a legend in the bbq scene in Houston! She was one of the first to get some shine in the late 90s and 2000s on food network, travel channel etc. if you want to know about legends Texas bbq simply google themlas bbq and step your game up and learn about her bbq. She was amazing. It's always nice to see her. read more

This arena is made to showcase horse events at the Rodeo Houston. It is an older arena but not antique. The seating gives you some leg room. It a pretty big arena with lots of seating and every seat has a good view. The floor is huge and not designed as a basketball arena so plenty of space for rodeo events and concerts. One of the air conditioners is noisy and needs to be replaced but otherwise the sound in here is good. read more

Writing a review for the Van's Warped tour... I know !! I'm ...*looks at calendar* uhm... 5 year late since the last warped tour happened? Whoops!! But I was only able to go to warped tour for 2016-2018. Anyway the employees are nice and the way it was set up was nice as well. Only "complaint" is that i had to hide in a port-a-potty for an hour at warped '16 because I was 12 at the time and there was a guy being extremely creepy towards me!! I'm currently 18, so it's not like any of the guys who like pop-punk or emo music would be doing that now (if warped tour was still around) since they only like minors!! read more

Rodeo, Car shows, conferences, sporting events, concerts, carnivals, etc... Reliant Park offers it all. the place is HUGE including the Astrodome, Reliant stadium, the Reliant Arena, and the Reliant Center. There is tons of parking but its availability depends on the event you are going to. I was recently there for the Rodeo and before that a conference at the Reliant Center. I have always found the overall set up to be good. Parking can be rough sometimes, but that's what you get for going there during the Rodeo. I avoid going some places (like the med center) because of their confusion and lack of parking. Reliant Park is always clearly marked and you know where you are going! Just make sure to put your walking shoes on before you set off! read more

This is certainly on the older end of venues when it comes to NRG park, but it still gets the job done. Used mostly for the Houston Rodeo, OTC, dog shows, and other random trade shows, the venue is very large. The restrooms leave something to be desired, but again I think that is because the building itself is old, not because the bathrooms are unkept. read more

The staff that works here are low-down, they just lack customer service and are so rude. My friend had her graduation here and afterwards she needed to get her purse, so as we were walking to get her purse - one of the staff members are screaming at my back saying, "Uhh, lady you can't be back here!!!" He grabbed my shirt and pushed me out the door. First off, they need to train their staff better to patrol the doors and train all staff members to treat their guests with respect, not like trash. Two of the staff members had the audacity to ignore my concerns of helping my friend find her purse, the staff member told me, "yeah, whatever!" So instead, I spoke with another staff member who had customer service skills, he handled the situation in a professional manner and didn't let his ego take control. The arena itself is pretty run-down, I felt like I was watching a cattle match with how the stage is set-up and the fold up chairs. Again, the staff sucks. They have no respect on how to treat guests - they act as if they are rich elites with their boogee attitude. Yuck! When people have too much power in their hands, they treat everyone any kind of way and it just isn't right! read more

Attended the Houston World Series Of Dog Shows today in NRG Center. Parking was $12....this is highway robbery! The building is nice, seemed clean and well kept. Didn't see much staff the entire day. The person selling tickets seemed less than enthused to be there but the person scanning tickets was nice. read more

I'm not sure why the University of Houston decided to start hosting some of their graduations here instead of on campus, but I definitely preferred the on campus graduation. Parking was $12 a car, cash only, so my friend and I had to scramble around for bills. It was also a pain to leave since no staff members were directing the flow of traffic, and people had to force their way into the lines of cars exiting. The arena also did not have enough seating for the number of people that attended, and a lot of guests ended up standing before the staff started directing them onto the floor of the arena where some foldable chairs had been brought out. Finally, we were hurried out of the venue after it ended, which created a massive crowd of people all trying exit out of one exit while trying to weave around families stopping to take pictures. All in all, entering and exiting was a hot mess. read more

If an event is happening in Houston, there's a decent likelihood that it's happening here. The "park" features a 70,000 seat stadium (football games, circuses, and major events), an 8,000 seat arena (smaller concerts and events), a convention center, and the world-famous Astrodome. In the months of February and March, the entire place is pretty much taken over by the Houston Rodeo, which makes use of pretty much every part of the place. They also have been hosting some events like outdoor concerts and festivals in their expansive parking lots. The only knock on this place is that the price of parking can be ridiculous. I swung by for a college graduation at Reliant Arena and they were charging $20 per vehicle. read more

Cash only to park which leads to a crazy u-turn line right inside the gates. So big negative on the parking. Then it was cash only to get our tickets. There was an ATM right beside the ticket booths, but in both of these cases if they could manage to put a sign up before hand (or hell, even on the traffic signs when there are events) then you wouldn't have a cluster-orgy at each of these spots. Once inside, we realized we were out of cash if we decided to grab some food while there. I asked a worker (they were dressed like management) if there was an ATM inside the building or if we'd have to leave. They had no clue. The food and drinks are horribly overpriced. Multiply what you'd pay in a convenience store by like 3 and those are the prices. The food options were okay, but not great and just as expensive. We grabbed snacks at some of the show vendors instead and for a bit cheaper (and still had some left to take home). Overall you are kind of stuck with the apathetic and lazy workings of this center if you really want to go here for an event, but my experiences this last visit pretty much show why I don't go to events here much. I just think about all the drama and BS and either stay home or find something else to do. read more

I went there May 8,2022 for the Coldplay and HER and the workers there are so rude they don't give a fuck about what happens, I have a medical bag and they really had the nerve to search me 3-4 times and I had the "BAG APPROVED" I also bought 2 suite tickets and they told us we had to bought 2 other one to get in. If you wanna feel like your not welcome or want to get disrespected then go there I'm trying to save people from going to that hell hole. read more

Most inefficient, horribly organized event I've ever been to. Parking was an absolute cluster, no one knew where the event even was. Extremely slow, rude, spread-thin staff ever. Drink lines barely moved. Randomly having bars that only took cash? Waiting in line for ages only to find out it was cash only? Indoor even but no air conditioning? This place sucks freaking ass! One of the biggest attractions in Houston. It has a Dome, a Stadium, a Center, an Arena, and parking lots. It is so big that you will need your walking shoes to get you around for sure. I love coming here during Rodeo season and for the cook off because of the carnival, the shows and the people to enjoy with your friends and family. Reliant Park a great way to lose some calories hehehehe. The main heads up I can say is the parking traffic. Make sure you plan ahead where you are going to park and a great route to get out quickly and calmly seriously. The traffic sucks so beware. Shuttles are a great idea to get around and prevent you to be in traffic for a long period of time. Over all I love coming here and I can't wait for Rodeo Season to be here! read more

We have been showing at the World Series of Dogs for many years so we just about live here for a week every year. The parking rates going up every year for the last few year is definitely a peeve but what can you do. That's my only real complaint the staff at the hall are always great folks and very nice. Every year the dog show is a great time to see old friends and make new ones and compete against some awesome competition. read more

Went to the Houston Dog Show this past weekend. The dog show never disappoints and NRG Park always proves to be a great venue for any event they host. Everything (inside) was well organized and spread out appropriately. It was really a joy to navigate. Plenty of concessions and clean restrooms located throughout as well. They can pretty much do any event here because of the complexes massive size. NRG staff has always been helpful during any event I've attended here. My only complaint is traffic control. It's always pretty unorganized. Once you get parked and in though, all is good. read more

I bought 4 tickets for the Shreya Ghoshal​ show. My old parents also came along with us. First, there were no instructions that we can't even bring liquid medicines for the parents. Second, these guys were not even allowing the empty container also. Even after repeatedly telling those guys that we need to have these Medicines inside for the old people. They didn't allow us to take. Finally, we have to come back. all $200 we spent was not refundable. The very bad experience we had. Hopefully, someone should look into it. read more

I've been here for car shows and the rodeo. This thing is awesome. It's huge and well circulated. The AC is always blasting so you aren't sweating up a storm. Both layouts for the carshow and the rodeo made for easy travel. There is plenty of walk ways and dividers so you can make a steady progression through all of the booths. read more

Attended the Martin Lawrence comedy show here. My date bought us VIP tickets which were supposed to include 2 free drinks. Every parking attendant had different instructions so it took us over an hour to park and get inside after which we were told that the VIP area was closed. We had to walk half way around the arena to get to our seats where we and everyone on the third row right In front of the stage were asked to get up and stand in the middle of the isle so that an attendant could check everyone's folding chair seat to make sure we were sitting in the correct seats. So if there is an event happening in this town it's in one of two place... George R. Brown or here. The upside to Reliant Park is that its much bigger since it's a whole complex of buildings: the Astrodome (for now), Reliant stadium, Reliant Arena, and Reliant Center. There is tons of parking but its availability depends on the event you are going to... and how much you want to pay. The downside to being such a sprawling place... lots of walking. Of course during Rodeo you might be able to catch a tram or golf cart thanks to the Transportation Committee! read more

Went for the car show. They could sure use to plant some trees around Reliant Stadium, both for the shade and for the ambiance. At least the air conditioning in the stadium was cold. The parking attendants almost ran me into other cars or golf carts (which are driven by maniacs) twice - frantically and irritably motioning me to go without even looking at anything else but my car. They also appear to think they run little fiefdoms rather than being there to serve customers, which I have noticed about parking attendants and ushers in other venues in this place, Minute Maid and Toyota center. It was very depressing looking at the neglected old Astrodome. Not that I was a fan - it gave me claustrophobia. But I don't like to see anything neglected. read more

I will be contacting costumer relations- Today we attended the Circus- kudos to Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey for the great show. Aside from the great show, I am disgusted with mankind and the Reliant Park STAFF. We were treated very rudely by numerous staff members when needing handicapped accessible assistance (ex: using elevators, getting down to the lower level to our seats/ and pre-circus fun). I could describe your staff as being discriminatory against our accessible needs. Shame on you Reliant Park- for not training your staff to properly greet and assist persons (young and old) with specialized accessible needs. read more

I expected a different facility when I arrived here. I was not mad about the appearance of the place but it is not as clean as I would have liked but it is old so what do you expect?! My family had a wonderful time here watching Sesame Street. The food and such was great and I would come back here for an event anytime. read more

Large area that houses many events throughout the year. Main problem is traffic control. So make sure to get there early. My other main beef is what they usually charge for parking at one of these events...ick Also due to the size of the complex and the amount of walking you could do, wear comfortable shoes or else you could be sporting blisters and sore feet. read more

This stadium is absolutely gorgeous. There isn't a bad seat in the place. The dome was closed during the game which kept the space cool. All of the food was typical for a stadium. The Texas put on a memorial for the 9/11 game which was very inspiring. read more

The Blues Concert was great! But, the NRG Arena was HOT! At $80.00 per ticket, the air conditioning should be on and blowing cold. Very disappointed in the venue!!! read more
